It's so crazy how they'll use these random sounds that don't particular seem impressive on their own, but by being creative putting them all together it turns into an incredible song.
Paul’s been so impactful for me as a producer, I’d love to see a longer more technically in depth breakdown of one of the songs. Mixing specifics, synthesis, favorite plugins, and more stuff like that. Still though these videos are absolute treasure chests.
Sorry for the second comment. I just wanted to add that I'm a nurse, but I once wrote a song about anxiety, insomnia, alcohol, benzos and a nasty divorce. Probably should have been a country song. Anyhoo, I got stuck, ran out of things to say and my song came to a dead stop. Some people I worked with helped me bring it back to life. We spent 5 days down in the ICU working on that song. I had the bones but the doctors and nurses...people I saw every day....layered on all of the bells and whistles. I'm usually pretty good with words so it was a drag that my friends at the hospital had to help me with the beat and the lyrics. I took a long vacation when we finished that song. Man....what a trip.....2018 I think that was....memories fade with time. Funny thing is, I almost never think about that song anymore. Sometimes, something brings it back to mind but it's fleeting. It gets easier with time. It's more like a healed battle scar now and less like a gaping wound in my chest or an assault to MY left-side brain. Life is a wild ride....hang on tight. ❤✝
@thanhdoanxuan2397 I never named it because life got better. In fact, I'm living my best life ever. I surrendered. I gave up. All of my pain was caused by me trying to be my own God. I nurtured a den of snakes until the snakes grew large and bit me. Many lessons learned the hardest way possible. Jesus saves. ✝️
This is just blowing my mind!! I can not honestly believe how much goes into their songs. It makes me appreciate them even MORE if that's even possible🤯✨️❤️|-/
I say to everyone who will listen, the production of clancy is unbelievable. I've never experienced an album like this. I hear something new everytime I listen to it. This song live on the clancy tour was a whole experience. The whole TØP team is incredible!!!
EDITED: That was dope. Thanks for being there for a friend. Sometimes we need a little life support to get things moving to the beat. You know...breathe life into a project and really get things pumping....an infusion if you will. I have a LOT in common with Tyler ...and Josh. Those vignettes are necessary for some of us particularly hard to wrestle yet anxious and dependent sheep. Throw in some 2P2 and things are bound to get off the chain. 👀 I finally stuck my landing by the grace of God. Rock on my dudes! (I was gonna say JUMPSUIT JUMPSUIT COVER ME!....but orange wasn't a good color against my skintone). When you're runnin on vapors....push on through. ❤✝
Astonishing work Paul thank you for all you do for the cliques and the community every beat and sounds means something special to us ❤️ and we like to take that to heart it’s gets us to push through our day as always Stay Alive |-/
*i mean, it’s possible, Vignette has a similar vibe to The Pantaloon, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Tyler reused some of his old melodies and ideas to create a nice lullaby son for them*
Ha, I knew there was guitar in the album! People were telling me on reddit that it's probably all ukulele and bass like Next Semester and I was like "mmm, I really think I can hear some in Navigating, ritn, and atrofd" but never noticed it here! That's cool the way it's not used so upfront but it's still there, like a synth or a texture or something.
This is my absolute favorite twenty one pilots song |-/… and it helps me see that the songs that are so catchy and lovable are ones that were made so sporadically and all over the place! I’ve been a Mutemath and TOP enthusiast since I was a wee little lad, so thank you for being such an inspiration! Thanks for this video, really 😊🤙 (PS your new music you’ve been coming out with is amazingly dope!)
Love those videos! But I wonder - you make it look so easy and I often find myself going into dead ends lured by cool idea that in the and don't click with other parts. It would be great to see your thoughts on that challenges. Also - I'm dying to see how you layer Tyler's vocals. Snapback and Trench' tracks have great and uniqe use of this technique. Im just guesing there's some pitch shifting and maybe formant changes but something makes it different. It all blends together in unique way
The fact that the hawk was real is crazy
Hawk tuah! HAHAHA
@@groupz_ Heck no

Really really love these Paul. Helps us creative see your process and it helps us tweak ours and learn from the pros
Is Paul mary streaming somewhere? Or is it just a video?
@Eslen92 just a video
yoo @JLAnderson_Music love to see how active you are in the clique!
Man I can't even express how much I've learned from these peeks. Mans now got me layering 12 vocal tracks at LEAST.
For real
Eu amo o Paul Meany ❤
No wayyy I thought the hawk was a sample of something
it was a sample of a hawk
I mean, how do you think samples get made? Somebody records the sound.
@@MartinJurus I mean I thought they got it from a website or something, not from tyler's backyard

Very cool Paul! I love your new song and the stuff you do with Tyler
Love this so much! Vignette was a song where as soon as I heard it, I wanted to hear Paul break it down 🔥
Seeing Vignette live over the 3 Columbus shows was surreal
No wonder... The production of this song is amazingly well constructed!!!

@destroyerofdreams42069 yep yep....no one is forcing anyone to read anything.
what is that song called?

been really looking forward to this one, this is definitely one of my favourite tracks on clancy

Paul, I absolutely love what you do. What I wouldn’t give to have a chance to work with you on my songs.
Hope to hear all the behind the scenes. Love it. Also looking forward to your album.
I kinda wonder if the “fall asleep” voice memo came from him singing his baby girls to sleep. If that’s the case that’s so sweet.

it's really nice to hear tyler's head-voice without layers. Makes me feel better about mine
So cool to see how you created these masterpieces!
You should do one about snap back , we need to know where this feminine voice comes from
This is my favorite song on the album! Also your new song is awesome btw!
I guess there really is a reason that i love this song, and i love the real hawk too.
It’s unbelievably beautiful🌌
More of these please

Idk if I'm jumping the gun here but I would love to see you do these for your own songs. Vignette is a favourite off of Clancy though
these guys are so freaking cool!!!!!!!!!!!
