Thanks for the review man. I got this figure a couple days ago and had a QC issue with the right arm falling off so I had to request a replacement. I wanted so badly to love this figure but you’re right it’s not fun to handle. I like looking at it but I found myself hesitating to pick it up. Beautiful figure but so underwhelming 😔
I had the same issue with my iron spider, the arm kept falling at the bicep, thankfully I was able to get a replacement, but thank you for checking out the channel!

I can’t believe this was delayed two years, and STILL had the ankle issues.
Yea man that sucks! I used an exacto knife and cut around the bottom strap to have the cuff around the boot float around and allow movement in the ankle
hi. great review man. im new here just subscribed. anyway play with the ankles and you'll see he does have a generous amount of ankle articulation.
I did put some shock oil and loose them up a bit but still wasn’t satisfied I did cut around the ankle boot cuff and it’s a lot better, thank you for the sun and supporting the channel!
Wow, your review is really informative and practical. You brought up a lot of deal breakers for this mafex cap. The straps of the shield, the heaviness of the spinning mjolnir, and ankle's poor articulation. As a whole, I think it's quite frustrating to fiddle with this figure from time to time. That kills a lot of fun, which is my primary concern when buying a figure.

I try to be as informative as I can, it’s 100+ dollar figure, I want to let ppl know what they are buying, but yea for this cap having such a heavy price tag it has to many flaws, I did modify him, I cut the little boot cuffs so now he has ankle articulation, I glued some of the strap downs so he can hold the shield better, and oiled the figure up with shock oil so he moves smoother but that’s a lot of work that I shouldn’t have had to do for a 100 dollar figure
had every opportunity to preorder him in early 2022 but thought the ML worthy cap was good enough. but after watching many review videos, really regret not getting him. too bad that now even the used versions are 17,000 yen which is nuts

It’s so strange to think that Mafex can make an amazing release with Mafex Infinity War Cap, and then this one gets delayed and it has some issues. The Legends Worthy Cap is amazing, so it’s interesting to see how this Mafex release stacks up in relation to that one. 👍
For being delayed almost two years, this figure should’ve been perfect, still a great figure but man, some irritating things lol
I'm in the same mind as you are. Still love the look and the design and movement of this guy, but mine suffers from the loose head at the top most ball joint (stays on though) as well as those damn straps on the shield. Haven't messed with the spinning hammer yet. But my copy also has that whack "pop out" peg at the bicep. It goes back in and stays in, but pops out when messed with a bit. I'm thinking some clear nail polish or something for that peg and the ones in the shield straps. What are you thinking for mods on yours that you mentioned? Would love to see them.
I added shock oil to the lower torso, where the stomach meets the waist cuz that was pretty tight and cut around the boot cuff to allow articulation, I didn’t mention it in my review but my head is very loose as well, not sure what I’ll do about that yet, and I don’t have that issue with the bicep but I did on my iron spider thankfully bbts was able to send me a replacement for him
@@ScrewedToyz My head is loose on this one too, not as bad as the GAMBIT fig, but about the same as the Return of Superman one. It's loose moving and no "pop" when swapping heads, but it stays on. Just super loose on that ball joint.

Just got mine today. Mine is perfectly fine except for the neck being loose. The strap on the shield is a pain but for now I’m using the manniple studio shield (battle damaged) one for now on it. Only other complaint I have is indeed the boot articulation along with the feet. Love the review btw.
Thank you man! And yes this figure is great but could’ve been too 3 of this year if it weren’t for those issues, I think my biggest problem with this figure is definitely the straps, I cut around the boot cuff and it gave him ankle articulation so that’s fixed
@@ScrewedToyz yeah. I think it’s better to completely super glue the strap onto the shield and that will solve the issue. One thing Mafex should look into in the future with there figures is QC issues, articulation, loose joints, and the overall sculpt of their figures. Overall this figure is definitely the best Endgame Captain America, but with a few issues. That’s all I can really say 😂.
Try Kiki for loose joints and such. Works really well. Loose heads annoy the hell outta me. My Cyclops had that issue.
Nice Clean Review Bro.....You can easily fix the Torso Cut by using blow dryer or hot water.. it will look so much better afterwards...

Have you tried swapping the butterfly joint cover? It fills out the gap on the shoulders.

I agree about the shield straps being over complicated. I never can get it to stay in the shield very frustrating
