This is beautiful. That feels like it's a strange thing to say about such a sad topic, but death and loss is part of life that is too easy to forget sometimes. Your vulnerability let me connect with feelings I had a few years ago when my mom put down our three cats. And watching the other dogs and the memories...it's just clear how much love Mascara brought into your lives. Thank you for sharing.

*sniffle* & hugs thats all I can say there are no words, my terrier Toby is gone 9yrs and you brought all those emotions flooding back. Toby was 21 so it was losing a friend. ..its ao beautiful ye can bury them to feel closure ans fo visit we can't do that here and it's ao beautiful up in the mountains

Losing a loved member of the family is so hard. We wish you the best with this difficult time. And it's very brave to make the decision to put your dog down so that she won't be in pain or suffering anymore. Thanks for sharing
+Hannah & Trevor We really appreciate your sweet words! It was heartbreaking to see my mom make that difficult yet necessary decision. At least she left this life with minimal deterioration of her health and lots of love surrounding her. ♥

Steinway is the ultimate mom...digging a grave for her daughter. I am in awe of that and full of tears because of it as well. She just voluntarily jumped in and started digging...if you wouldn't have documented it, no one would have believed it. #mascara #malamute #husky #rainbowbridge #snowdogs
