I think the reason why text boxes are like that is because when translating from the original Japanese, the localization team isn't allowed to change the number of text boxes that show. So if in the original Japanese a character is supposed to talk for two boxes, but in english the text would only take one, the localization team has to mess with the text to make it fit two boxes.

I don't find cthulu cool or funny nearly as much as everyone else seems too, I'm tired of "IRONICALLY SATIRICAL" dating sims, and even if it was funny Arin and Dan aren't doing much to shine when they're just reacting to or repeating a funny video game's jokes. It's terrible, campy games like this or Pantsu Hunter that are where the magic is.

The best times ever on this channel were when they play weirdly voice acted games. Deadly Premonition, Michigan; reporter from Hell, all visual novels and recently Harvester, were all such a blast. They manage to always make Voice Acting so funny and enjoyable even if the don’t do the voices themselves. I hope this gets a series, can’t wait for Episode 2!!
