In your opinion how good or bad are the factor subs on the parcel shelf in a VE SSV Special Education (G8)? I just had an Alpine ILX-702D head unit and amp with Alpine speakers installed. Also had the front doors deadened. I had the factory subs reconnected. Awesome system. Great vlog.
Cool videos dude.Helped me out heaps when I put my head unit in my ve so thanks. have you heard of problems with the Alpine climate control glitching out and freezing? its the only thing i don`t like about it have to restart the car to get it going again. Oh one other thing think you could do a video on setting the x over in the head unit?
I have installed two of these kits with this head unit now and no occurrences or reports of freezing or glitching in the HVAC control. Will try and make a video about setting crossovers and gains for different amps on the head unit and on the amp.

Hey bro just bought a used 09 ve ss ute privately, 2nd day in and I check the wiring on the radio and i noticed a cut wire which knocked and shorted to ground and now my radio, climate control and centre display has all gone dead and the fan stays on unless i turn car off. How do I fix, checked fuses and all seem good, have i blown detachable facia
Mate no need to remove all that leave the long panel alongside shifter leave clove box in and just let it hang by removing 5 screws and drivers side only need to remove the triangle side stereo
ok well the gauges that display up there after the stereo goes in are actually allready programmed into the car, the HVAC kit just tells the display to switch over to "Sports Display" mode (something normally only a dealer can do) so if your car is already displaying three my guess is that it would already be in the correct mode and it will stay like that.
For all that holy Please please do a video of centre console removal to access the handbrake cable as I’ve tried but I can’t for the life of me figure it out
Deniz Bekteshi the voltage and oil gauges are actually pre built into the cars system. The aftermarket dash just gives you the ability to turn it on or off. So possibly your Holden service department could turn it on for you with an OBD computer. But it's not like you an just have a switch to go between that and radio display because it's all digital and in the computer so you would loose all your radio info until you went back to Holden to have them revert it.
champ one more thing! i hooked up all the alpine units but the original holden screen has stopped working??? i seen one of your videos u came across the same problem?!

A mate has a VE Commodore with the original stereo and his very young daughter slotted a 50 cent piece into the cd player hoping to get a chocolate bar hahahaha. Any ideas as to how to get a 50 cent piece out of the cd player? It has a CD in it as well and is coming up with an error message.
You would have to remove the stereo and carefully dismantle it to a point where you could tip out the coin and grab the cd, then very carefully reassemble.

This is the Holden VE Commodore Which is the SV6. Putting in the brand new Head Unit Which is the Touchscreen.

Great channel. Does the Alpine unit only show the two gauges tho? my SSV has three. Volt, oil temp, oil pressure.
