Spearfishing at Talland Bay (Cornwall) Bass and my first Mackerel!!!

Spearfishing at the regular BSA competition venue of Talland Bay, near Plymouth. Talland Bay holds a variety of species, whilst I had Bass and Mackerel, Bobby burns took a good Dover Sole and a Cuttlefish from the sandy areas.
Shooting a Mackeral whilst spearfishing was a particular goal of mine, Mackerel are small and fast moving, and regarded as a difficult species to spear in the UK due to this. However their meat is absolutely delicous, a rich oily flesh, fantastic on the BBQ or when fried
