    Oh WOW.
    You are so right. The more that I worked with them, the stronger they got. They communicate when I'm awake now.
    Everything was confirmed by living people....in Africa!
    I TOTALLY found my family.

    I've been having dreams about my ancestors since I was 17 and its a very beautiful feeling knowing that they are close to me.

    Listening to your knowledge has unlocked so many suppressed memories 🤭. I am writing ✍️ each one down as I recall. BuffaloCalf Woman came to my dreams many moons ago and showed me many things. She didn’t say anything, not one word., but was strong enough to pick me up and “show” me what she wanted me to see. My mom always said I have some of the most interesting dreams she’s ever heard of. Now I know why, thanks to your Divine Wisdom!! (People would come to my mother to interpret their dreams.)

    I know I'm late to this video, but I have a question. In 2016, my son got sick and remained sick for about 4 months. After seeing countless doctors, medicating him, and praying and laying hands on him, I was at my wit's end. I finally asked myself, what haven't I done. Well one night while I was checking on his fever, I called out to my ancestors for his healing. I had no faith that it would work and I had no idea what I was saying. Long story short, my husband's grandfather showed up in the flesh (not literally, but I could see him), and my son hasn't been sick since. My question is why did my husband's ancestor show up and not mine? I'm grateful that anyone showed up, but I had never met, seen, or had any type of relationship with my husband's grandfather. Thank you in advance.

      In most traditions, if not all, my current innerstanding is that when you marry and conceive, the father's Ancestors (Patriclan) are primarily responsible for a boy child. Other Ancestresses (Matriclan) are involved but, your son will work with/experience his Patriclan more often. :) It's like the saying, "no one can teach a boy how to be a man except for a man." Same for a girl child/ woman. Hope that helps.

      Also, your experience gave me chills sis!! Tears of joy. Hopefully, you know now who WE "call on" as Africans who have been unfortunate to not have been born into our own culture. The beautiful news is...even though we were misplaced due to historical events, our Ancestors NEVER LEFT US! They can teach the culture of your specific bloodlines...i.e particular spiritual gifts, specific tools that facilitate the use of those gifts, even down to teaching you HOW they use those tools in your specific tradition. We can ask them about anything!!!!! Anything!!! Lol We just have to do the work 💓

      It's something I started recently, I added an Ancestor altar to my music room then I thought, why not just do a lot of my communications with my ancestors through music, My husband said that he heard two people singing one time while I was playing and it wasn't me. I don't sing anymore. Plus when I cook, I talk to my ancestors, tell them what I'm making and so forth. it's fun and I feel like I'm really connecting in a good way with them.

      Also, I take from your name that you might ve Nigerian? One easy way to reconnect if through the food. Retaste and learn about traditional dishes ask your mother, dad...ex. how to make dishes the traditional way, what are your grandparents favorite dishes...these questions will get people talking and will open you to the ways of your ancestors...a safe and delicious way to get started 🙏🏽

    • @MakedaWisdom
      @MakedaWisdom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are Zambian, then start with Zambia. I suggested food because it is the easiest way to be opened the ways of tradition without frustrating others. Listened to what they will offer you, not what you think you need to know. Making this change of perspective will help you along your path towards traditions.

    What happens if you can't verify. In the Unites States we are not getting info passed down. I have no way of verifying. what about ancestors from hundreds of yrs ago?! how can we verify that!?

    • @MakedaWisdom
      @MakedaWisdom  8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      This is why you start with ancestors closer to you first before going hundreds of years.
      You can also ask them to tell you about yourself and their connection to you.
      You can ask anything that will help you establish, assess whether what you are being told is the truth.
      This also requires that you are willing to align your queries with your behavior while awake. Could be hard to be told the truth if you keep lying to other people while awake.

But, I have been very interested in trying to find where most of them came from, which is not as easy to do. I was told by my mother that on her side of the family, I have a great great grandfather who came from the Congo. I have studied the faces of different West Africans and believe it or not, I am almost convinced that my paternal side of the family comes from Cameroon because the facial features are so similar to many of my family members. Despite the fact that some of them or a bit mixed, the facial features still shine through! So, it is funny that you are from Cameroon, too! LOL!

      There are no coincidence sis! Listen to music from home, from different
      country, explore the country that is calling you, learn about it,
      immerse yourself in it. But most of all connect with nature, this is a
      must if you truly want to understand the deepest African principles. You
      must connect to nature and learn to be part of it, not dominate it. It
      will require to let go of some programming, to look at water, fire,
      earth, air, metals, plants, minerals, and animals very differently, but
      it will be well worth it and help you connect in a very profound way
      with your ancestors as they cared for this planet everywhere they went.
      I'm starting an online course on Sacred Spaces very soon, maybe you'll
      be interested to join. A video announcement is currently in production.

      To help remember your dream you need to make sure you sleep enough, and are not too tired at night hence going to sleep and not falling in sleep because you are exhausted. Also, when you rmember your dream, write them immediately. Keep a pen and paper or dream journal next to your bed and add the dates to your recollections so you can track whne the information was first given to you.
