    This is so amazing, thank you for the reminder. I think this modern way of life also contributes to depression, I wish I could live more connected to nature in good community.

    • @user-zz4uc7lu4m
      @user-zz4uc7lu4m ปีที่แล้ว +16

      You can choose to be connected to Nature-- find a tree in your neighborhood park. It can be in a box on the street, it doesn't have to be in the forest. Visit your tree as often as you can. If it is within walking distance, all the better. Take a little walk, pause at your tree. Speak to the tree (in your mind, the tree hears you) Ask the tree to help you be grounded as it is, roots deep in the Earth, branches reaching to the sky. Take time to listen to the tree, You may not hear words (at first) but feel the connection you have to trees, plants, Mother Earth. This feeling of connection and a true tangible connection comes with your intention. Set the intention to be connected, aware, open to the gifts and guidance of Nature. It is there for you. Open to it with your Intention. All the same goes for community. Set the intention to find the people who nurture you, the comunity doing heart centered work. Maybe there is volunteer work that calls to you; those people may be folks you can build community with. Don't look for them in the bars. Choose positive activities, outside, in a gym, in a food pantry, where might "your" people be? go find them, Best wishes. Know there is unconditional love streaming to you. Open to receive it. You are worthy.

    This is what I've found while meditating on the Bible and my life. God said he didn't give us a spirit of fear. I literally see all feelings as spirits. Depression is just an evil spirit that pushes away Joy, happiness, confidence and fulfillment. I no longer welcome depression. It no longer holds power over me. I see it and let it move past me now. Not in or through me. I no longer have the spirit of anxiety either. No more attacks! Amen for healing 🙏🏾

Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my TH-cam channel about holistic health. Kick it naturally has some short useful videos how to go about it.
      Check on methylation & genetic changes too to figure out what your body needs as support.
      Watch videos by Dr Ramani & The Little Shaman to figure out toxic people & how to stay away & set boundaries. I wish you healing. Hugs.

There is an abundance of healing when patterns are stopped and hurt meets you, and in your kind of words, you say “Hello. I see your hurt and I won’t be like you.” ❤

    I saw a Native American Indian’s face calling me ... come, come here and follow me. I was instructed to collect feathers and howl my heart out with the wolves.
    Afterwards I was so astonished, as I am working with a Shaman Healer in the UK, preparing to do his course to become a Shaman. The synchronicities are breath-taking and so was this video. I too am called to help others heal who struggle with addiction, depression and various other emotional traumas ... having experienced them all myself. May I thank you, wise one, for sharing this with us for our benefit, and may we share the goodness to others that require it. One other thing that I wish to add, for those dealing with depression, listen intently from 11:40 to about 16:45, that is wisdom. I thank those who have come before for keeping this knowledge and those that will come for the preservation of this knowledge. May we come together and recognize our brothers and sisters in each other. Blessings for all who have wisdom and share it and to those who receive it to be shared with others. I’ve continued thinking more about the cup thing:
    A present moment expansion of that concept can apply to our day-to-day life. As healers, we also want to stop the pattern of “hurt people hurt people” in our day-to-day life, not just in our bloodline/ancestry. I’m raising my own personal awareness so when something or someone in my day fills my cup with gunk, I consciously work to empty it and refill my own cup with my own love so as not to pass that gunk around ❤
    And also, spread kindness. Kindness continues to be very important.

    I didn’t expect to cry. The ending got to me. I am not very emotional and we don’t have talks about depression in my family because they don’t believe in it. They just call it laziness.

    • @anchorpoint3631
      @anchorpoint3631 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow! Such a shame to call it "laziness".That's why a lot of people don't care at all. Depression is no joke and it's real. Been suffering from it 2014. The only reason why "make myself depart from this world" is because the christian church kept saying...well that the person would end up in the place opposite of heaven. And of course, I have quit christianity. That religion proves that jesus or god only care about themselves.

    I walked the lands of Oregon many times, along the rivers and the trees and the energy, the life force of the ground seemed palpable, the manifestation of energy into form. I often felt like I sensed the presence of all the peoples who walked there before me. Oregon awoke my spirit into the world for the first time when I was just a child. I became conscious of all life and myself a part of it all. I can not even conceive of who I would be now without such a beautiful place.

    Thank you so much, Mr. Foster!
    These insights you shared have helped me to gain a new perspective in terms of lifelong depression (24 years).
    Not even therapy & conventional medicine have done that. These little storys and anecdotes are more helpful for some people who need metaphors and visual language instead of chemicals and an analytical approach.
    Native healing targets much more the right brain hemisphere, as I understand. The humane warmth and loving personal attention of the healer is a very underrated factor, too.
    Much love to all of the native people worldwide. ❤

    THANK Y O U.... I've come to similar conclusion, n solutions... it is sooooo refreshing to hear n meet you, saying similar things... i wasnt born native american in this body, but was one in many past lives, n have a native american spirit working in me, as one of my first teachers, who is a powerful healer too. He has been with me for over 38 years or longer, teaching me certain things that native ppl have forgotten, intuitively. He is a most precious man/spirit i know. Ho...
