I was lying in the hospital after open heart surgery. I was ready to give up. Then from across the hall I heard Pavarotti sing the Turando aria. It brought me back to life.
What a marvelous idea! I absolutely loved Pavorotti and and saw him twice. I'm so glad the talented Howard and his team made a documentary of his life.
Dear Tony, since this new CBS movie is not a breaking news story, presumably you've had plenty time to prepare for this interview. Placido Domingo has been an international superstar for over 50 years (your entire life), so even if you are not personally interested in opera, surely your assistant(s) could have prepared you better (since you did not take the time) to be able to read/pronounce his name. He is not "pla-SEED-ee-oh"... He is PLAH-see-doh. Surely with your position and pay grade, you can present yourself better (smarter!)
Ron Howard is such an excellent director - if you want to take a class by him, I recommend strongly buying the course from MASTERCLASS app. I have watched and learned from him on how to better write/explain for the director in my scripts.
What is pre production production and post production? Pre Production, Production and Post Production. In short, pre-production is where preparations are made for the shoot. Production is where raw elements are recorded and post-production is where the images, sound and other effects of the recorded film are edited
What is the definition of theme in film? A short definition for the theme is: Story (Action) + Plot = Character Development Yielding the Theme. ... These elements, as well as being discussed with regard to the theme, will be discussed from different viewpoints in succeeding chapters. The theme-or idea or premise-of a movie can be expressed in one sentence.
Don’t be ridiculous. Pavarotti said that himself about his father and it’s charming. But not his mother and listen to the difference between them yourself (Panis Angelicus of Franck). The Rossini choral are a choir (still) and not one of them with a voice like him. Unique and individual. Equally able my arse.
Luciano's father was FANTASTIC, even at a very advanced age! He did not perform professionally because he was too timid, but you couldn't tell it in that performance! I honestly think Luciano, was a bit jealous that his father sang so well and garnished so much of the limelight. How sad that so many people in life never met their potential because no one supported or encouraged them. I make a point of encouraging talented people, not matter what their gifts, to go for it - move beyond their insecurities and show the world what they have to offer!. I would hope that others would do that for me as well.

Damn! 🙋!!
A great director making a film about the greatest Tenor of our time. Well done.

Grazie for bringing Pavarotti to life Opey, way to go.
It is about time!! Pavarotti always!! Thank you, Ron Howard, Opie!!! 💞
I just saw this and it was a wonderful experience. Howard is right - you don’t have to be an opera fan to enjoy it.
Of my age, balded and gray bearded, he still sounds like Opie, meant with all respect.
I have such respect for Ron Howard. Just a brilliant man.
MIsprounounced "Andy GriFFIN Show" and PlaCIDIO Domingo" in the first sentence. Any credence for this talking head?
That's what you got out of this incredible interview?

Yeah, the accent's over the "a"!!
Pla-chi-doh actually in pronunciation
@@desktappingdude Plácido Domingo is from Spain not Italy so it’s pronounced Plah-see-doh
The documentary should have been in Italian. And should have been an Oscar nominated movie. CBS Films is great

He's my all time favorite person ❤😂🎉😊
Pavorotti is great to get through traffic jams! Just sit back and enjoy!

I recognize Pavarotti OK, but this is little Opie?
Palcidio?????
I never watched andy Griffith for opie ernest T bass was the man, also the DARLINGS
Remember that guy wouldn't let Earnest T dance with his girl?
His father was a better singer. He was part of a fraternity of opera singers (chorus) that were all equally able.

Interrupting is rude
The "Andy Griffin" show? A CBS guy should know better.
Disappointing and sad how your views on politics influence your films. Step outside your box. Get uncomfortable and confront the other side of truth
