You said it 21:30 Deathtrap gas tank falling off dry rotted tires. wearing shorts and no gloves obvisiously you never wrecked on a street skin and muscle comes off real fast at them speeds . expecially 21:35
Easy to say, but with homemade quads, steering geometry is never first on the list. I bet it feels like 100 when the front end is tracking all over the road.
I knew u would get it man! And she still has a little more potential. Can hear it finally hits rev limiter in the lower gears but up in the higher gears you don't hear it. I think your carbs are tuned pretty close man. But the only issue I can see at this point is that that intake system from factory had forced air induction vents that run to the front of the bike. Forcing air in at high speeds. Forcing the slides to open when u want them to. Custom ram air induction with some household vacuum cleaner plastic tubing will do it, and just build a square sheet metal box around the filters and have the ram air go into the box. If u want to go through all that id guarantee a drastic difference. Shes way better though man. And if you ever want to sell it when your done with it on the channel, I will buy it as long as its not crazy money. I would return it to being a banshee. Ground up resto. New frame and powder coat new banshee motor lol
Get a vacuum guage and sink your carbs, they make them with 4 vaccuum gages for 4 cylinder engines like yours. Also, make sure the carb slides are all moving at the same speed and position. The pod filters can be a bugger to jet correctly, but it can be done with enough know how. First vacuum sink them and make sure the slides are sinked as well. Cool project.

This THING is worse than I thought! then you fiddled with it some and the Motor started sounding like it wanted to Run, and was sounding better as the Revs built, and I thought, Oh Oh, now it sounding like it wants to run. Watch Out Joe! then this video, there you were pushing it to 88 MPH, and I thought, Oh GEEZ! I sure hope those Tires don't give out, cause if they do, Joe's a Goner. Next and last video would be Jade telling us that you finally Killed yourself, and she's Pissed. but, most women are Pissed. They are always Pissed. So, it is something we Men have to over look to be with them. But, I digress. . . Then when you blew past 90 MPH, I thought, Oh My, this THING is going to Fly Apart at 92 MPH, and Joe will be Smeared all over the Road Side, like just so much more Road Kill! Then when you Fessed up to not having the Guts to click that Monster into 5th, I breathed a Sigh of Relief! I thought, Joe just might live to rebuilt some other worn out, Clapped out machine that was left for Dead from two decades ago. But, I know how these things go though. You'll make some other adjustments on this Monster, and you'll start it up, and it will Call You to give her just one more Rip, and maybe it will do 95, or perhaps that Magical 100. Resist the Temptation when this Monster starts Calling to you to give her one more chance, i.e. One More Chants to Kill You! Remember, this Machine is a SHE, and they are always Pissed!
Awesome man. I don’t work on nearly as many as you do, but I’d think about rejetting those carbs. The duct tape is a quick fix, but imagine what it would do properly jetted with no restrictions on the air flow. Either way, pretty work.

I think what would really take your channel to the NEXT level would be to do a build series of you creating something like this banshee in your garage. You sorta already do this with the “getting it running” phase but a build would be sick. Great vid.
At least some one listens lol. That’ll do. Good job. Simple shit. U have to do the mix screw while it’s on and warm. U should not be able to start that bike without the choke. It’s definitely not tuned right. U have to sync them carbs. All that good shit. I would put a sock over them. Or u can change to the unis with a sock. But u still got to tune the carbs. U can buy a sync kit or there’s people on TH-cam that made their own. To tune the mix screw. U have to let it run for 10 mins. Turn the screw until it wants to die and turn it back to find the highest rev point that will be your tune
Not shifting right is his trademark this kid's been doing that for years. He used to shift all the way up to 13th gear but yeah he pulls that clutch in all the way to the bar every time too funny.
If you get those cards flowed jetted a little and advance the timing high performance CDI That thing would be outrageous It's already a beast 🔥👍I seen a guy on YT out running super bikes etc on one of these ✌️

Make up a nice fuel tank and some fairings turn it into a beach quad with paddle sand tires and use it to climb sand dunes at the beach woooo unreal bro !

I recommend putting a piece of pvc tube between the filter and carb like a velocity stack it will give the restriction needed and then play with jetting
So you were probably only running 90-95 then. Since most cops claim they clocked you 20-25mph over what you were actually running. Guess it looks good on their resume
I think it would be awesome if you could put dual exhaust on it so it still has it like a banshee, but that bike flies now! Great job getting her tuned up! Btw I would love to see it with some paddles out in the sand for sure!

I'm very surprised those tires haven't just blown apart they cant handle the g force dot approved ones will be able to take about 150 but atv tires about 90 I'm very surprised that you lived
awesome. if i lived closer to you i would come full send it! did you change the main jets in all but one of the carbs? that would be a huge problem. i also dont remember how much you shimmed up the needles in the carbs. good job figurinf she was running lean, now just fine tune it, mount a good fuel tank, new bearings, bushings and brakes- ready to roll!

I agree my best friend riding a Quadzilla had a front tyre pop when flat out, he ended up in traction busted ribs and bruises. Never second guess your tyres....
Get a tank that fits Check over all the steering joints and bushes, seems stability is an issue. Perhaps even look into wheel spacers to extend the width of the wheel base And get the thing tuned properly Then it wont feel like such a deathtrap.
It sounds better. You may want to check into if that engine was equipped with a factory electric fuel pump. Most all newer bikes even carburated run a low psi electric pump. It sounds like its starving for fuel.

other than restricting airflow with tape try putting bigger main jet to compensate for the more air that should make even more HP
More air + more fuel = more power

The choke is for cold starts in winter, you can start anything at room temperature without choke
just a tip you dont need to clutch once set off and shifting up gears you can shift with out using the clutch might helpo with the missing of gears

If your metering rods are adjustable with C clips raise them one notch if they are not increase the main jets by 5, remove the duct tape.
