My t.albopilosus is strange but that's why I love her. After clean her enclosure and I put her back in she doesnt know her hide is hers so every day I have to guide her into it to teach her that it's hers. Today she now claimed her hide. But I'm not complaining because she's super gentle but a little moody every now and then

I'd love to see a tarantula feeder taste test. Offer a variety of feeders to each spider, and see which they choose. Then for fun, you could do the same? Make it a challenge, call out all the tarantulas tubers.

So my t died this morning. We fought to save her for 2 days. She ended up drowning herself in her water dish. From everything that happened, its looking like she didnt molt her suction stomach. So she couldnt drink and quickly dehydrated. My first ever t and i got one with a internal problem. Great intro to the hobby, i dont know if i can even think about getting another one anytime soon. T-T Guess ill just have to live through other people vids again.

maybe the new light is good for jumping spider eating too they really like bright light to hunt in and often if the light is dim they wont strike I know tarantulas mostly dont like bright light but jumpers love it

to think about it, tarantulas are similar to Nutorious B.I.G.(jojo golden wind). if the food is fast tarantulas will attack fast and if theyre slow they will attack slow
I would love to see a video of your favorite feeders and which ones the tarantulas seem to like most (seems like they have different preferences.) Also love for your velvet spider and jumping spider! I've been trying to get different feeders as I see them. My jumper seems to always be happy to take a waxworm. I tried the moths, I put a couple in and they're gone, but I never saw him eat them so I don't know if they just died. He is generally happy to eat crickets, but not always with roaches. I just got some black soldier fly larvae, but I think he's not hungry again yet. Sometimes they will eat a superworm, but sometimes the worm flailing seems to scare them. I try to tong feed just so the bugs don't just dig into the substrate. I did put a couple black soldier fly larvae in the substrate hoping they'd eventually reappear as flies. I just got a GBB sling (my first tarantula!) and they ate a small superworm. I wasn't sure if they were ready, but they jumped on that sucker. Next I'll try a small discoid roach or one of the bsf larvae. I breed superworms, discoid roaches, and crickets just to have baby size ones on hand (they're so messy and die so much by time they're adults, that if I need adult crickets I go buy them.)

Maybe she's not ready to eat? Hopefully she will soon. Just make sure she has water and all and you should be good (atleast this is stuff I see being said in tarantula groups on fb so I hope it helps)
