Thanks Russell, yep it's interesting and great too that you can deselect the palettes you don't want to be available for fingertip selection while spotting. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Hi Sam, one of the three top buttons (middle one?) is the hot key for changing palettes, once you go through the menu and select from the list all the ones you wish to be available. This is cool as it means any you don't use can be de-selected, so pressing the hot key only toggles between the ones you prefer. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 thanks Russ I will take a look, I couldn’t see anything in my menu about colour pallets and my middle button is the lrf, only just got it and took it out in rush last night, first impressions were very good tho! One thing I did notice tho is a standard 18650 battery is slightly shorter than the supplied batteries and they don’t work in my gryphon 🤷♂️ Cheers for the review it certainly helped make my choice 👍
@@samsawyer2145 I'm trying to remember (Bruce has the Gryphon for his foxing duties right now), but it might be short presses of the first/rear button to toggle through the palettes, and a longer press to access the full menu. The battery should be a pinhead 18650, not the flat-top batteries as used in the Pard scopes. Thanks very much, enjoy your shooting! All the best, cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 cheers Russ will have a play later. Yeh I had pin head 18650 but they are definitely slightly shorter and don’t work. I was sure it ran off standard 18650s too. Cheers 👍
I went with gh35l 384 rather than the 640 due to its base magnification which makes it just as good as the 640 thermal due to more base magnification and smaller field of view gives it the same pixels as 640 with less base magnification and wider field of view
Good to see the new capabilities shining through Russ, don't often hear a prayer for a pea-souper!🤣👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎
Hahaha indeedy Alan, but I'm really glad I caught the fog -gonna be eyes peeled for more from now-on. 🤣
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Great review
The Griffin looks good, like the idea of multi thermal display
