FLIR One cleverly uses edge enhancement to compensate for its lower resolution. As a P2 user, I must say the P2 is incredibly clear and has already become one of my go-to tools!
Good comparison, just watching different videos while waiting for my arrival... I don't know what Flir is doing these days, but they're clearly falling way behind.
This technology needs to be more integrated into cars. You can only get it on really high end cars but this would save millions in car damage and insurance payouts for not striking animals, pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycles. 2ndly it removes driver blindness from oncoming vehicles. I used it in the Army for night driving. Total game changer. Granted my screen was a white and black image to allow for greater eye relief.
I like the 1776 sticker over the selfie camera haha. Good reference. Mind if i ask where you bought the sticker? Now i want one. 😁 Btw, thanks for the product review. I'm pretty much inline with most of the commenters. What has happened to FLIR...?
As a longtime FLIR One user, I’ve gotta say, the battery life has always been its Achilles’ heel-can barely squeeze out half an hour before it’s begging for a charge. What really gets me is why FLIR keeps jacking up the price. Shouldn’t tech advances make things cheaper, not cost an arm and a leg? Honestly, it feels like this P2 just handed FLIR its lunch. Have they done anything over the years besides slap on a bigger price tag?

I agree, the P2 is an excellent choice for its clarity.
@@MikesCarInfo Does it work with the latest software. My son got one and said it's not compatible with new phones?
@@Mattersuit It should. The Google Play store should have compatibility info on the download page.
Bro that resolution is crazy…!❤

Curious the name resembles Infiray P2. I think the real competition was between these two, and not Flir, which is clearly left behind.

One thing should be noted! Flir one 9Hz I guess, but you accelerated video playback, so it seems "FINE"
TRUTH

@@RobSummers993 The sticker came with some stuff I ordered from Infowars a few years ago.
Eeeehhh... nevermind. I'll pass lol. But still, thanks for the vid.

hi
I want an economical camera that can detect a snake well at a distance of 5 meters in adverse conditions. What do you think?
keep in mind that reptiles are cold blooded so they'll probably blend into their surroundings
Camera covers are stupid you will need your front camera
Doesn't work with new Android software..pathetic!
The app requires invasive permissions and has no reviews...
I use a old samsung to adapt the P2, without any problems
Apparently doesn't work with the latest Android software. 😢
