These look a good buy at half that of a Pard 008lrf (when used as a spotter) look forword to the 2nd instalment out in the field. Also can't wait for some more video of the new Pard with the BLC. I think it's perfect for air rifle pest control ranges. 😎👍thanks for your hard work guys 👏
Hi Garry, certainly good kit but our pros and cons will be at the end of part #2, during which you'll also see the difference between using the IR illuminator on a misty night and a clear night. Basically you need a powerbank for night use (especially if using onboard IR on full power), and if like me you're recording video you need to remember to reset the date and time each time the batteries are changed or powerbank reconnected. I'll try to get part 2/2 online today... Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Thanks for all your hard work bringing us the nv devices lads 👍 Sorry off point on this review but did you get the 008 s krf sorted ? Love the ballist calculator , What's your opinion between it and the new hic that robin used for your session up in Scotland.
Thanks for watching Steve, part 2/2 is ⅔ edited so I'll get that online ASAP. Ah I'm overdue-but-keen to get back onto the Pard008S-LRF, so will test that ASAP. Yep I love the BCL too, absolutely awesome for airgun pest control. 👌 Ah the HIKMICRO Alpex is on another level for daylight/low-light/after dark use, simply exceptional -but no onboard IR or LRF/BCL. So if I could somehow afford it I'd absolutely buy an Alpex, but would use it on my 17HMR and save the 008S-LRF for airgun use (sub-12 or FAC). Actually I would use the Alpex, but only for jobs needing longer range, e.g. around 100m with slugs. Cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 Thank for your reply ,I tend to be shooting 50/80 yard ranges , Looking forward to seeing how you got on with the update on the pard ,IV been saving for a while now and getting close to having enough for my own nv scope so I will be keeping a good eye on your updates , thanks again lads 👍👍👍
Stop being a numpty (I've deleted three of your comments 🙄)... I sync'd the 7 + 1 (35 minutes total, each) raw files from both HIKMICRO and Senopex scopes received from Bruce, which meant knitting them together, then slowing one (to 82% of original) so the video files matched side-by-side (that took some sussing). But then the 10:35 Senopex menu run-down video clip has no explanation, so I simply said I'd wait until I can narrate what's going-on (I have neither the scope nor manual to go-on), as it's not exactly watchable as-is. Nice review lads, looks a decent tool for the job. Thanks for sharing
Cheers bud, yep one of these plus a compact powerbank and you're pretty sorted.
I'm aiming to get part #2 online today or tomorrow.
Cheers. Russ

Hi Russ any News on part 2 of the senopex review?
Hi Chris, yep I'll be back on that as soon as I get part #2 of this live, and get some essential info from Bruce regarding menus etc.
Cheers. Russ
Does it work for stargazing or ufo watching?
