Numismatically speaking, the 1909 Liberty Head / “V” Nickel is “in really bad shape,” which technically equates to a grade of Poor-1, or at best, Fair-2; in other words, it’s a 🐕 ! I hope you didn’t pay more than fifty cents for it. 🧐 🇺🇸🐕🇩🇪🐕🇺🇸🐕🇩🇪🐕🇺🇸🐕🇩🇪🐕🇺🇸🐕🇩🇪
It was part of that huge acquisition earlier this year. After I spread the costs to all the coins it cost 80 cents! (But it did fill a slot in the album!)
