always nice to find good used parts for these tractors. seems like the reman scv's are way too expensive. i had no idea that the third remote was just a plate tied in to another. i guess i never studied them before. the only one we have with three is the 8430.
You're right on the remans being too expensive. I am looking into maybe finding the grinding Stones so I can regrind the seats on these. It doesn't seem like the jd dealer wants to mess with them anymore. Plus what they want to rebuild one is I think more than a reman, and these aren't very difficult to go through from what I understand. Going to try to rebuild one one of these days and see what happens

This was very helpful. Do your 3 point arms drop when the tractor is off and have you ever fixed that issue? I'd like to figure out how to fix that internal leak.
One of my 4630 s will drop the 3-point arms when I shut it off. It has either a leak in the 3 Point piston assembly or with the control valve. Neither of which I have been into
