Have you considered a Arcane Trickster/Bladesinger multiclass? It would give you more access to ritual spells, a wider selection of spells, higher level spells sooner as well as extra attack and cantrip casting in place of one attack. I built a ninja that was Mark of Passage Human Arcane Trickster 12/ Bladesinger 8 that was fairly potent.
I gotta say, the reward you gave to those dm level patreon members is by far the #1 best one I've ever heard of. I gotta check out the requirements now.
Both hold person and Hypnotic trap can be thematically role-played as genjutsu, which fits better then a physical trap IMO. On the other hand, Lightning bolt, even with Flavor, doesn't really equate to Lightning Blade. You'd wanna cross-class and get Thunderous Smite so it's a high damage melee attack instead of a ranged AOE
There's a couple of ways to do that. You'd can go into Warlock for Relentless Hex, Pact of the Talisman and the Sleight of Hand to place a talisman on someone else and Far Step for more teleporting, Soul Knife Rogue for the additional teleport when you throw the knife along, Shadow Monk for teleporting through shadows, etc.
Bladesinger Wizard perhaps? A with spells like Blink, Haste, and Misty step you can go very quick anywhere very fast, long distance travel can be teleport as well. As a 9th level spell you can get Imprisonment to seal away any demons as well.

I would say that I voted against Luffy rather than I did it for Kakashi, but I really ended up liking this one better. I liked that you focused more on the kunai rather than trying to implement unarmed attacks.
I'm glad you liked it, and I felt like forcing in the unarmed attacks would just take away too much from the core build so I'm really happy with end result.
Great video! I do like what you’ve come up with to recreate kakashi. I had a separate build for a more ninjutsu/taijutsu focused kakashi id like to share briefly. You can’t copy spells super well but, he rarely does that in the show outside of zabuza and the lore. It’s mainly wizard since he’s supposed to have a thousand jutsu and a sorcerer DEFINITELY isnt fitting that role Start as a variant human. Feat: fighting initiate and grab unarmed fighting. Dexterity is your number 1 with intelligence being number 2. First 6 levels go into blade singer for its unique extra attack allowing you to use booming blade or shocking grasp, 3rd level spells, extra mobility, a bunch of spells (he’s supposed to know a thousand after all.) then go monk for anywhere from 1-8 levels. I’m going to go with three levels. I go with open hand for the extra utility on your flurry but shadow works nicely. What you get from these three levels is unarmored defense (if you have decent wisdom otherwise just use mage armor), a free bonus action attack with your fists, ki abilities, even more movement and deflect missiles. So now you’re a character with 3 attacks without any buffs or ki spent each doing 1d8+dex. Here you can take monk to 6 for magical fists, or if you can find or make magical gloves, take wizard the rest of the way for 9th level spells. With the right set up with your fists you can be doing 1d8+2d12+5 five times with just your fists as well as instead focus on using your spells, up to and including meteor swarm for the madara reference lol Overall just a different take on the same concept and that’s what I love about this game. So many ways to build a certain concept based on who you ask
I would’ve gone arcane trickster 9/trickery cleric 2/ fighter 2/ blade singer 7. Get most of the features, higher level casting, duplicity from trickery cleric (shadow clone), action surge, a fighting style, ect.
This is something you may be able to work with your DM with, it's just an idea I came up with. If you choose the Inheritor background instead and have the inherited item be a magical eye that works as your arcane focus and was transplanted into your characters eye socket, you can use that to replicate Kakashi's Sharingan.
When he said Rogue i immediately thought of the Inquisitor Rogue with their ability to look at an opponent and get advantage on attacks. Just feels like Kakashi's Sharingan.

One thing you could do for Raikiri is to take 3 levels of Druid(which means you still get Spell thief) and take Flame Blade and either talk to your DM about reflavoring it to Lightning or Take a Feat instead of an ASI taking Metamagic Adept with Transmuted Spell to change it to lightning damage & Subtle Spell(for sneaky assassinations) (you would have to bump Wis up one point)
I like that idea a lot, only reason I held off on switching around was because I wanted that higher level spell slot, but that's definitely a great way to go about it
i thought there was a spell that let you make a line of lightning and you can end up in any space adjacent to it. it was in one of the published books. also there is a feat that lets you choose a fighter style and unarmed is one of them getting a d6 or d8.
There is thunder step which I could have made work, but that does more sound-based thunder damage, and the chidori does squeal with a very loud sound so I probably could have made that a bit more straightforward and gone with it. But I liked going with more pure lightning damage

You always find the best classes and feats that I would never be able to find if I tried to make these characters on my own. I’m not sure if it’s possible or how hard it would be but could you try to do a titan shifter from attack on titan?
@@pedrogarcia8706 I was definitely looking at that, but I try not to use anything from unearth arcana in any of my builds just to make sure that it's part of the rules as written, and accepted at more tables. But we were definitely thinking similarly in that sense.
I thought for sure you'd use find greater Steed, as it gives the summoned steed higher intelligence, the ability to speak etc... Unless that wasn't an option. I don't know what all spells are available for the level 20 thing

An easier leveling curve if you want Kakashi to have more jutsus is just grabbing Bladesing Wizard to multiclass with your Rogue levels. Your bladesong increases your AC, movement speed, acrobatics, and con saves but can only be used a few times a day? It's literally a sharingan by level 3. Kakashi grabs all the spells listed in the video faster and more efficiently, and you switch back to Rogue levels now or a bit later. Rogues and Bladesingers synergize well, you're going to be getting sneak attack with your knives or rapiers all the time; stay Arcane Trickster for even more spell options, or try Mastermind or Thief for Kakashi's resourceful/tactician vibe
Yeah, but I just felt like it didn't get as much of a Ninja vibe. I did something similar for my Sephiroth build going bladesinging, but I just really wanted to make sure Ninja was at the forefront

But now I wonder if and how the similarities and differences between both could indeed be described adequatly in D&D-rules. Would you have any ideas here?
IF you are playing in a shorter campaign grab tempest cleric and pick all lightning for that massive chromatic orb as lore wise in naruto raikiri was modeled after rasengan.
That would have been a nice little addition, I wish I had a bit more wiggle room on levels for abilities, but I was a bit restricted. That would definitely be a fun bit to add in though.
I wanted to make a Multiclass out of arcane trickster and elemental Monk. But to be fair, he doesnt use that much other ninjutsu. so you build is more fiting :).
Bladesinger wizard with a fighter multiclass would be a very good alternative. At 2 fighter/ 6 wizard you can consistently shocking grasp (chidori) with an additional kunai attack. Action surge to do it twice or chidori + kunai into any spell you have prepared, once per short rest.

Bladesinger Wizard for Kakashi: bladesong *is* his sharingon - idk why it would require a wish. Like for the Ichigo video i thought you would go Barbarian Paladin to Rage for Bankai and divine smite for getsuga tenshou - with fast movement from Barbarian that woulda been cool.
Because I'm talking about his skill as a "copy ninja" and Wish would allow him to cast any spell to do so, but going the route I did, he can quite literally steal someone else's spell or jutsu. Bladesong just boosts your general combat ability with a boost to AC, concentration, and speed but it wouldn't allow him to copy someone else's spell or jutsu (unless you did wind up doing some RP with Wish), so I stuck with spell thief. I like that idea for Ichigo though, that would be a cool way to go.

this is why i think that every character is Naruto is a Gestalt build with slight alterations. Naruto is a Totem Barbarian 3 / Lore Bard 17 // Moon Druid 20 Orochimaru, i see as a Mercy Monk 3 / Moon Druid 17 // Necromancy Wizard 20 Kakashi is a Arcane Trickster Rogue 20 // Earth Genie Warlock 20 (i swear the guy takes more short rests than long rests, then he's back in the game 10 chapters later) Itachi is a Gloomstalker Ranger 3 / (no good subclass) Warlock 17 // Arcane Trickster 20 Lee is CLEARLY a Champion Fighter 20 // Drunken Master Monk 20 Shino is a Swarm Ranger 15 / (No subclass) Warlock 5 // Spore Druid 20 Shikamaru is an Inquisitive Rogue 20 // Illusion Wizard 20 Tsunade and Sakura both seem to be some flavor of Paladin 20 // Mercy Monk 20 some characters don't have great class analogues or have abilities that don't translate well to skills (looking at you, shadow clone), but they can get close
I've been saying it would be cool if there was a melee magic class. Like one that focuses on using rebalanced touch spells with something like a monk in replacement of ki

@@BuddyRIP Wait, no, Anger cleric was a joke (ToT) Essentially there are a lot of spells/cantrips that could be used for a melee caster (Shadow Blade etc.) The only issues are 1) most casters are too squishy (low HP and/or low AC) this can be mitigated with some spells (Barkskin/Stoneskin/Mage armour etc) but that also requires set up 2) Most melee characters sustained damage outclasses a melee mage, what with extra attack/sneak attack etc. If you want to be a competent melee character, you'll need very specific spells for sustain, or you'll have to be fine with blowing all your spellslots in combat. In most combat based campaigns (where you only have 1/2 combats/day) you should be fine, but in combat slogfests or more RP based ones where you'd want to focus your spells more on utility than damage That being said there are a bunch of classes/subclasses (Bladesinger Wizard is the obvious go to and magic/melee classes like Ranger/Artificer/Paladin) that could work with using a weapon, but if you want a completely spell based frontliner (no weapons) I think Cleric or Druid is your best bet.
If your DM was OK with it, I don't see why you couldn't use the animate object spell to animate one part of multiple puppets. Got a puppet with knives for hands? Animate the knives and drag the rest of the puppet behind them as they fly at your enemies, or something to that effect. There are probably some other great spells that would really help use the whole puppetry thing to great effect, I just can't think of them off the top of my head lol
Interesting take on the build... My Kakashi-esque build multiclasses Astral Self Monk (Susano'o) and Order of Scribes Wizard (Makeout Tactics spellbook). Shield is reflavored as the Sharingan's ability to increase perception and dodge, with feats like Alert and Observant adding to the Sharingan's preternatural awareness. The only aspect of Kakashi I don't really have replicated is his ability to copy jutsu... although with the Scribes ability you can really put in work earning that 1,000 jutsu reputation. I will add that we rolled stats, and I was able to put good scores in Dex, Int, and Wis. Monks are pretty M.A.D. normally, so with bad rolls or even just standard array or 27 point buy I wouldn't have been willing to go the route I did.

That spell is awesome, and overpowered as hell, but it's not officially part of the spell lists allowed for a character and I try to stick to the official stuff when possible. But believe me, if it was an option I definitely would have grabbed it 😁

I could see that being a solid route, but then you do lose out on some sneak attack damage, you also don't get as much of a ninja vibe, and you miss out on the actual spell stealing. Stealing. But you totally make it work if you wanted to go that route, this was just my interpretation of it.
@@dndbuilds I think a multi class would be better indeed, that way you don’t miss the sneak attack damage. You’d only need 7 levels in fighter (to get the one feature that allows you to mix attacks with spells) and you can take the rest in rogue. You can pretty much just build like you’d do then since fighter can still be DEX based.
Sorry, but it doesn't do it for me, I think you would have better luck reflavoring the sorcerer. The Lightning dragon blood line is best for this because it gives added durability and lightning damage. Quicken cast with blade blade cantrip would make this kakashi dangerous in melee. 2 cantrips per turn at lvl 5 is better then a 1st lvl spell for 2 sorcery points. Lvl 6 is where it comes together. The Quickened cast lets you cast shacking grasp twice(flavor this as 1 chidori) doing 4d8 + 8 damage for 2 points. If the dm is very kind, they will let you do lightning damage for green flame blade. If not booming, the blade works. If super kind the dm will let you make up a blade cantrip that doesn't do magic damage or have ride along effects in exhange it can be used on thrown weapons to 30 feet (kunai/shirikin) If your dm is super duper kind then they might let you make a custom spell. I believe dmg recommends touch spells at lvl 1 do 3d10. This is like inflict wounds, but it's lightning, so a inferior damage types. (if you used their rules to make inflict woulds I think it does 3d6 nectrotic). From there you just pick up stuff like burning hands (flame style), fireball (fireball jutsu) Sheild (mud wall that fall apart after hit), scorching ray (phenix flower jutsu), silvery barb (substition jutsu) Hypnotic Pattern (random mass genjutsu) Kakashi will still be limited because he is using most of his chakra (sorcery points / dissolved spell slots) on quicken cast. I think quicken cast with maybe blur is the best representation of the sharingon. He is known for spamming jutsu in terms of speed and this would make it so you need sharingon (qicken cast) to use chidori. It sucks copying jutsu had to be dropped but the show also dropped it so eh. Plus, you can break away from inspiration
That's crazy to me, I would never outright ban Rogues... but I will say... when it comes to skill checks, they can be pretty overpowered, so in higher level games it can be a challenge
@@MaJunior00 yeah that's crazy to me, rogues only get one attack on average. At most they gain 10d6 sneak attack to boost their damage, plus an extra 1 dice of weapon damage and at most +5 dex damage. A basic champion fighter, can attack 4 times at the point a rogue gets that amount of sneak attack. If they use a greatsword for that, they do 8d6 damage, plus the guaranteed abilities damage, making it higher than a Rogue (an extra 20 damage from strength modifier)... Those DMs need to check their numbers...
@@MaJunior00 If a DM can't handle a single instance of alpha damage they need to study up. Hell plenty of other classes far surpass that Alpha Damage let alone Sustained damage.
I want to build a character like Ginko from Mushi-shi, but I'm struggling with nearly every part since Ginko is a blank slate character so that the reader/viewer can put themselves into his place in the stories. I'm thinking of a ranger since Ginko is knowledgeable on many different mushi, but idk.
Kakashi shot himself in the foot chakra reserve-wise by using Obito's eye. It has a constant drain on his reserve so his levels ever so slowly grow. I think without the eye he would be one of if not the strongest normal ninja in naruto.
I would argue the eye and the sheer versatility it grants more than makes up for the limit on his upper power. I mean look at it. It takes someone with a tailed beast to even surpass him. Or in Madara's and Sasuke's case being the incarnations of OG Shinobi. With upgraded eyes to boot.
I was tempted with find familiar, which I mentioned briefly but it's a very limited spell so I decided not to. And actually only Druids and Rangers get summon beast
I am planning to do him in the near future, I just have a handful of builds in the process already. Already. But I'm definitely going to get that one out well before the next game releases
There's a standard point by system built into fifth edition, I know I don't always express that, but there's only so many points you're allowed to distribute, and those points are more expensive, the more you put into one particular stat.
That's one I probably won't get around to doing a video for. But seems like a fairly straightforward martial artist (admittedly I've only seen a small portion of the show). But when it comes to a straight forward martial artist, it's monk all the way. Since there's not a great way to pull off the gender swapping with water, I might actually go with Way of the drunken master, and the swaying can be to avoid water or the body changing every time it's wet throughout the fight... Although if Ranma has a specific fighting style, there might be another option
@@dndbuilds Technically it is "Anything Goes Martial Arts". His special attacks are "Chestnits Roasting On An Open Fire Fist" (Flurry of Blows), "Dragon Ascension Blast" (a quick tornado), and the "Tiger's Pride Bullet" (an energy ball of pride ki). I can see him as pure monk, but you DO have to keep in mind his basic tornado creating punch, and that ball of ki. Sailor Moon could be another cool character, but Tulock already did her, and had the strike from Toei to prove it (and had to redo it with non-Sailor Moon imagery).

Best way to do a teleporter is Echo Knight. Unlimited Bonus Action teleports.

You could do the same with Wizard, but pick Shadow Blade instead so you're less MAD.
You can flavor text hypnotic pattern as him putting the enemy under his sharingan or a genjutsu
Wizard Bladesinger. been playing a kakashi build for over a year.
I definitely considered that, and that would be a much easier way to get a lot of abilities. But I wanted to lean a little harder into being a ninja.
I would love to see a Shiro Emiya from Fate/Stay Night build.

An easier leveling curve if you want Kakashi to have more jutsus is just grabbing Bladesing Wizard to multiclass with your Rogue levels. Your bladesong increases your AC, movement speed, acrobatics, and con saves but can only be used a few times a day? It's literally a sharingan by level 3. Kakashi grabs all the spells listed in the video faster and more efficiently, and you switch back to Rogue levels now or a bit later. Rogues and Bladesingers synergize well, you're going to be getting sneak attack with your knives or rapiers all the time; stay Arcane Trickster for even more spell options, or try Mastermind or Thief for Kakashi's resourceful/tactician vibe
Yeah, but I just felt like it didn't get as much of a Ninja vibe. I did something similar for my Sephiroth build going bladesinging, but I just really wanted to make sure Ninja was at the forefront

But now I wonder if and how the similarities and differences between both could indeed be described adequatly in D&D-rules. Would you have any ideas here?

IF you are playing in a shorter campaign grab tempest cleric and pick all lightning for that massive chromatic orb as lore wise in naruto raikiri was modeled after rasengan.
That would have been a nice little addition, I wish I had a bit more wiggle room on levels for abilities, but I was a bit restricted. That would definitely be a fun bit to add in though.

I wanted to make a Multiclass out of arcane trickster and elemental Monk. But to be fair, he doesnt use that much other ninjutsu. so you build is more fiting :).
Bladesinger wizard with a fighter multiclass would be a very good alternative.
At 2 fighter/ 6 wizard you can consistently shocking grasp (chidori) with an additional kunai attack. Action surge to do it twice or chidori + kunai into any spell you have prepared, once per short rest.
But you than miss out on Spell Thief which is the only way to mechanics wise get one of Kakashi's signature traits.

Bladesinger Wizard for Kakashi: bladesong *is* his sharingon - idk why it would require a wish. Like for the Ichigo video i thought you would go Barbarian Paladin to Rage for Bankai and divine smite for getsuga tenshou - with fast movement from Barbarian that woulda been cool.
Because I'm talking about his skill as a "copy ninja" and Wish would allow him to cast any spell to do so, but going the route I did, he can quite literally steal someone else's spell or jutsu. Bladesong just boosts your general combat ability with a boost to AC, concentration, and speed but it wouldn't allow him to copy someone else's spell or jutsu (unless you did wind up doing some RP with Wish), so I stuck with spell thief.
I like that idea for Ichigo though, that would be a cool way to go.

Itachi is a Gloomstalker Ranger 3 / (no good subclass) Warlock 17 // Arcane Trickster 20
Lee is CLEARLY a Champion Fighter 20 // Drunken Master Monk 20
Shino is a Swarm Ranger 15 / (No subclass) Warlock 5 // Spore Druid 20
Shikamaru is an Inquisitive Rogue 20 // Illusion Wizard 20
Tsunade and Sakura both seem to be some flavor of Paladin 20 // Mercy Monk 20
some characters don't have great class analogues or have abilities that don't translate well to skills (looking at you, shadow clone), but they can get close

Essentially there are a lot of spells/cantrips that could be used for a melee caster (Shadow Blade etc.) The only issues are
1) most casters are too squishy (low HP and/or low AC) this can be mitigated with some spells (Barkskin/Stoneskin/Mage armour etc) but that also requires set up
2) Most melee characters sustained damage outclasses a melee mage, what with extra attack/sneak attack etc. If you want to be a competent melee character, you'll need very specific spells for sustain, or you'll have to be fine with blowing all your spellslots in combat. In most combat based campaigns (where you only have 1/2 combats/day) you should be fine, but in combat slogfests or more RP based ones where you'd want to focus your spells more on utility than damage
That being said there are a bunch of classes/subclasses (Bladesinger Wizard is the obvious go to and magic/melee classes like Ranger/Artificer/Paladin) that could work with using a weapon, but if you want a completely spell based frontliner (no weapons) I think Cleric or Druid is your best bet.

If your DM was OK with it, I don't see why you couldn't use the animate object spell to animate one part of multiple puppets. Got a puppet with knives for hands? Animate the knives and drag the rest of the puppet behind them as they fly at your enemies, or something to that effect. There are probably some other great spells that would really help use the whole puppetry thing to great effect, I just can't think of them off the top of my head lol

My Kakashi-esque build multiclasses Astral Self Monk (Susano'o) and Order of Scribes Wizard (Makeout Tactics spellbook). Shield is reflavored as the Sharingan's ability to increase perception and dodge, with feats like Alert and Observant adding to the Sharingan's preternatural awareness. The only aspect of Kakashi I don't really have replicated is his ability to copy jutsu... although with the Scribes ability you can really put in work earning that 1,000 jutsu reputation.
I will add that we rolled stats, and I was able to put good scores in Dex, Int, and Wis. Monks are pretty M.A.D. normally, so with bad rolls or even just standard array or 27 point buy I wouldn't have been willing to go the route I did.
Yeah I just try to avoid Rolled stats for my videos because it leaves too much to chance on the overall build.

That spell is awesome, and overpowered as hell, but it's not officially part of the spell lists allowed for a character and I try to stick to the official stuff when possible. But believe me, if it was an option I definitely would have grabbed it 😁

I could see that being a solid route, but then you do lose out on some sneak attack damage, you also don't get as much of a ninja vibe, and you miss out on the actual spell stealing. Stealing. But you totally make it work if you wanted to go that route, this was just my interpretation of it.
@@dndbuilds I think a multi class would be better indeed, that way you don’t miss the sneak attack damage. You’d only need 7 levels in fighter (to get the one feature that allows you to mix attacks with spells) and you can take the rest in rogue. You can pretty much just build like you’d do then since fighter can still be DEX based.

Sorry, but it doesn't do it for me, I think you would have better luck reflavoring the sorcerer. The Lightning dragon blood line is best for this because it gives added durability and lightning damage.
Quicken cast with blade blade cantrip would make this kakashi dangerous in melee. 2 cantrips per turn at lvl 5 is better then a 1st lvl spell for 2 sorcery points.
Lvl 6 is where it comes together. The Quickened cast lets you cast shacking grasp twice(flavor this as 1 chidori) doing 4d8 + 8 damage for 2 points.
If the dm is very kind, they will let you do lightning damage for green flame blade. If not booming, the blade works.
If super kind the dm will let you make up a blade cantrip that doesn't do magic damage or have ride along effects in exhange it can be used on thrown weapons to 30 feet (kunai/shirikin)
If your dm is super duper kind then they might let you make a custom spell. I believe dmg recommends touch spells at lvl 1 do 3d10. This is like inflict wounds, but it's lightning, so a inferior damage types. (if you used their rules to make inflict woulds I think it does 3d6 nectrotic).
From there you just pick up stuff like burning hands (flame style), fireball (fireball jutsu) Sheild (mud wall that fall apart after hit), scorching ray (phenix flower jutsu), silvery barb (substition jutsu) Hypnotic Pattern (random mass genjutsu)
Kakashi will still be limited because he is using most of his chakra (sorcery points / dissolved spell slots) on quicken cast. I think quicken cast with maybe blur is the best representation of the sharingon. He is known for spamming jutsu in terms of speed and this would make it so you need sharingon (qicken cast) to use chidori.
It sucks copying jutsu had to be dropped but the show also dropped it so eh. Plus, you can break away from inspiration

My DM banned Rogue in his session,Now I get why.Rogue if done right,Can be broken.
That's crazy to me, I would never outright ban Rogues... but I will say... when it comes to skill checks, they can be pretty overpowered, so in higher level games it can be a challenge
I've seen bad DMs ban Rogue just because of sneak attack, calling them broken or OP. Crazy to me. It's too aituational to be considered that strong.
@@MaJunior00 yeah that's crazy to me, rogues only get one attack on average. At most they gain 10d6 sneak attack to boost their damage, plus an extra 1 dice of weapon damage and at most +5 dex damage.
A basic champion fighter, can attack 4 times at the point a rogue gets that amount of sneak attack. If they use a greatsword for that, they do 8d6 damage, plus the guaranteed abilities damage, making it higher than a Rogue (an extra 20 damage from strength modifier)... Those DMs need to check their numbers...
@@MaJunior00 If a DM can't handle a single instance of alpha damage they need to study up. Hell plenty of other classes far surpass that Alpha Damage let alone Sustained damage.

Hey I’m just throwing it out there but would mind to do TenTen from Naruto
I want to build a character like Ginko from Mushi-shi, but I'm struggling with nearly every part since Ginko is a blank slate character so that the reader/viewer can put themselves into his place in the stories. I'm thinking of a ranger since Ginko is knowledgeable on many different mushi, but idk.
In 3.5 there is a ninja class.
Kakashi shot himself in the foot chakra reserve-wise by using Obito's eye. It has a constant drain on his reserve so his levels ever so slowly grow. I think without the eye he would be one of if not the strongest normal ninja in naruto.
I would argue the eye and the sheer versatility it grants more than makes up for the limit on his upper power.
I mean look at it. It takes someone with a tailed beast to even surpass him. Or in Madara's and Sasuke's case being the incarnations of OG Shinobi. With upgraded eyes to boot.

For your base stats are you working with a set number of points or did you just grab random numbers?
There's a standard point by system built into fifth edition, I know I don't always express that, but there's only so many points you're allowed to distribute, and those points are more expensive, the more you put into one particular stat.

That's one I probably won't get around to doing a video for. But seems like a fairly straightforward martial artist (admittedly I've only seen a small portion of the show). But when it comes to a straight forward martial artist, it's monk all the way. Since there's not a great way to pull off the gender swapping with water, I might actually go with Way of the drunken master, and the swaying can be to avoid water or the body changing every time it's wet throughout the fight... Although if Ranma has a specific fighting style, there might be another option
@@dndbuilds Technically it is "Anything Goes Martial Arts".
His special attacks are "Chestnits Roasting On An Open Fire Fist" (Flurry of Blows), "Dragon Ascension Blast" (a quick tornado), and the "Tiger's Pride Bullet" (an energy ball of pride ki). I can see him as pure monk, but you DO have to keep in mind his basic tornado creating punch, and that ball of ki.
Sailor Moon could be another cool character, but Tulock already did her, and had the strike from Toei to prove it (and had to redo it with non-Sailor Moon imagery).
Thoughts on a Shikamaru build?
I definitely plan on doing one, and I'm going to for sure be leaning into some snake-like aspects
