This is such an important show, wether you like the characters or not. It shows a real portrait of a group of young people trying to figure out their fucked up lives. Aren't we all looking for that, after all? I watched it during dark college times and it helped me see so many things I didn't realise for myself; it helped me feel less alone; it helped me accept myself, my body as it is; and ultimately it helped me grow so much.

I know it's insane but there's some part of me that feels that Girls is a Legend and the most underrated TV series of our generation. Like after a century, some geeky kid will find these 6 seasons of super brilliant and adorable TV show and have an epiphany of sorts.

Some of the acting in the first few seasons wasn't the best. Watch it again in a few years' time.

Not that it matters but usually when I disagree with ones political stances it's a total Turn off. And Lena like us all is far from perfect. But she looks fucking fantastic.

the only likable character in the entire show is Andrews character. The rest are pretty despicable human beings. very difficult show to like
I suppose thats a reflection of life though, GIRLS shows all parts of a person even the shitty parts, and in the end all the girls became better people anyway!
some of the storylines were quite moving but I know what you mean. Elijah, (Andrew), was the best though wasn't he?
