when my best friend bought Digitakt and Digitone I always found super underrated the sound power of Digitone. Super powerful synth.. much more inspiring than other "big synths"... I love this
The goat returns. Literally bought a digitone the day after I binged your digitone playlist while traversing a misty swamp. Hope you’ll release an album of your vermis adjacent work.
WOW haha, that's great for you I hope. There are many good tutorials on TH-cam but I also offering help on my Patreon. I am also thinking about making a tutorial here myself since a while but I am always ending up making new music instead 😅. I will release this as an album with new Vermis illustrations by Plastiboo but it will take a bit...
@@JosuaKarlson Yes absolutely, having a blast with it, even more so than my digitakt. Tutorials would be much appreciated and I certainly see myself becoming a patron soon.
Thanks George, I am glad to hear that! Sometimes I feel the pressure of buying new synths for the sake of keeping my TH-cam fresh, but I honestly don't really need or want more right now, so infinitely more Digitone songs sounds great to me😊
@@JosuaKarlson No problem! I listened to your suggestions the other day which were great, but then I realized I didn't actually have any of yours yet! Looking forward to the new one too, I might grab a tape!
@@JosuaKarlson Well I wasnt listening on a mixing set up or anything - so take it with a grain of salt. Reference tracks work for me. If I'm working on an unfamiliar system, I pull a couple of mixes ( Ones I know and think sound great) into the track I'm working on, paying close attention to the top and bottom... comparing back and forth and adjusting the mix track as needed. Just make sure your reference tracks aren't running through any comp, effects or eq on the bus system.
I just released a sound pack for the Digitone with the sounds I used for my Vermis songs: th-cam.com/video/mckjavprj6c/w-d-xo.html

very true. imagine creating such evolving complex intertwining multitimbral motion sequenced patterns with most other synths. its a powerful thing
Yeah I always wondered why so many more people have a Digitakt!
It is indeed! Probably my most used synth ever. I like my Wavestate a lot as well but it has less use cases...
Heavenly ambience. It takes my mind to a trek up a gentle, winding path in sparse woods.
Thank you, that's what it all about 🌝💀🖤

When something sounds so good you want the gear... Same unfortunately.

Fantastic use of the Digitone, I am enjoying all your Dungeonsynth videos. I have a Digitone myself.
Thank you I am glad you like them. Digitone is the best ✌️🖤
Just leaving some props for the algorithm. Love your stuff and I want infinitely more dungeon synth digitone action!

Awesome progression. Sounded a little harsher than most of your mixes - but I loved the minimal effects. Nice one!
Thank you, I always wonder how it sounds on different speakers/headphones:). Thanks for the feedback
