  • I don't believe anyone is an expert in leadership - we're all students. Even the most accomplished leaders have an immense amount of curiosity. There is always more to know.
    + + +
Simon is an unshakable optimist who believes in a bright future and our ability to build it together. Described as “a visionary thinker with a rare intellect,” Simon teaches leaders and organizations how to inspire people. With a bold goal to help build a world in which the vast majority of people wake up every single day feeling inspired, feel safe at work, and feel fulfilled at the end of the day, Simon is leading a movement to inspire people to do the things that inspire them. Simon is the author of multiple best-selling books including Start With Why, Leaders Eat Last, Together is Better, and Find Your Why. His new book, The Infinite Game, will be released in 2019.
Simon’s WHY: To inspire people to do the things that inspire them so that, together, each of us can change our world for the better.

Also, just like brain, Leadership is a muscle. Greater the practice, stronger the muscle. Fantastic Simon, as usual. Cheers.

Leadership is lacking transparency + soul. Honest connection is lost and we need more leaders responding to their staff with “I don’t know” as an answer more often than answers to questions that dance around a direct response. If more leaders admit that they don’t know everything it would empower staff to help and offer ideas and create an actual team.

That's true however staff need to be willing and not judgmental of the statement " I don't know." Don't expect leaders to know it all n be perfect.

I agree with you in part, however there are some that are truly natural leaders it these people that set the standards that we FOLLOW!
The need to be lead is not natural in many and so natural in others.

Simon. I am trying to apply your theories to corrections. I think your theories can apply to prison staff. My more recent videos on my TH-cam channel promote your theories to corrections.

@@SelfDevelopmentQuest Brother, I'm in an organization now where there are people who sit at the upper echelons in positions of authority....but that's all they are, authority figures....figures/statistics driven...leadership is not a priority, but results....its a shame because it kills talent and stifles creativity...
