She had no peace in herself while she lived. Why would she all of a sudden have eternal peace now that she's dead? In any event, she did not believe in the existence of the God of the Bible, so according to atheists, when your dead, you're dead. According to their own "pholisophy", she would have stopped existing after her earthly death, with no consciousness whatsoever." The adage: "May someone rest in eternal peace" is a phrase used by the people left behind to have a sense of "comfort" and empathy themselves. Regardless of her believes and her despicable personality, I wish nobody the fate that she and her children suffered. It was a monsterous act committed by a fellow atheist. So ironic and sad.😢

Unfortunately freedom is not free. Sometimes you have to fight to keep it. I believe in peace but unfortunately there won't any permanent peace until Jesus comes back. The only fighting I know of regarding religion is in Ireland. The Protestants and Catholics fighting. Hitler had a thing against the Jews. If people could live and let live it would be good. If you don't agree with someone's religion or lack of it, just realize they have a right to be wrong.

For example, in 1960 Murray “set out with her two sons . . . intending to renounce her American citizenship and defect to the Soviet Union.” Her repeated attempts at emigration were rebuffed by the Soviets who were probably aware of her emotional instability and violent outbursts." @stddisclaimer8020 - Just read her son Bill's book titled: "Life without God." There, you will see all the real reasons why he turned to Christ. She neglected her first priority as a mother - that was to love and care for her children. That principle applies to everyone, regardless of such a person's religious belief or lack thereof- it also includes atheists.

I'm guessing from your moniker you might be of the particular Reformed stripe that puts little effort into the mission field, but world evangelism is a major thing in many American denominations. My great and uncle were missionaries to India for over 40 years. I can tell you with certainty they introduced many Hindus to Jesus in their time there. There is nothing intentionally insulting about trying to introduce another to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

I don’t think all Christians do that. It’s like the bumper sticker you see says “ Christians aren’t perfect, just Forgiven. “. It’s sad that some “Christians give the rest bad names. Just like some atheists give other atheists a bad name. Just because some act against what they say they believe doesn’t mean they are all horrible
