Hey David, the iPhone has the feature, you just need to double press the home bottom and the multi-tasking feature will pop. If you want to close any one of the apps, you can just swipe it upwards. Anyway, cool video, great for people who are tired of iOS and now switching to Android.
Great tutorial! I'm an iPhone user and I don't plan on switching anytime soon. However, I appreciate seeing these sorts of videos as I've always been curious as to how different Android is to iOS.
Thank you David, your class was excellent. I have problems importing photos from my Android Gal.S4 cell to the PC 8.1. I'll check if you have a lesson on that.Thank you
Easy to understand with proper tone and well organized, however for the auto brightness, it uses the proximity/light sensor while Smart stay uses the front camera :)
Thank you!! This is the most helpful video I've found because you really do speak to the total noob, like me! I will go to your site for more help. I have a different phone but this was still helpful.
hi david please can you do video on windows phone, particularly the apps that are compatible if possible. otherwise great job on the other videos i am now a fan of pcclassesonline aka tech talk America. thanks
David you are awesome helpful. You have a good voice. Keep producing some more videos. Thanks for educating the community and appreciate your volunteer-ship. When you publish new video or before publishing if you want to test drive let me know, I would help. Thanks a bunch Please note always helping others improves the world in to great atmosphere and good world
thanks for the tutorial..i was clueless about widgets until this video..now I just need to learn how to remove them lol.I think I somehow loaded google play services twice, its showing it as around 90 some megabytes and I think I see it running as 2 apps..how can I fix that?
Near 12:40, CREATE Folder, To DELETE a folder In Apps/Folder screen, Select the Edit Menu (upper right) LONG press on the folder until Trash/Remove appears and drag to it as usual.
This is more of a Samsung tutorial than an Android or KitKat tutorial. Samsung Galaxy phones have a specific customized interface called TouchWiz that applies only to them.
I understand that the Galaxy S5 is a good phone, but the Touchwiz used in it makes the video not as useful for most Android users. I wanted to show it to my wife after I bought her a Moto G and I guess I will have to show her how to use the phone instead.
***** Oh really? Ever heard of the Sony Xperia Z2, Google Nexus 5, LG G3, HTC One M8? Some evenly matched phones with a usable interface and a lot less bloatware.
I just purchased a OnePlus cyanogen mod phone. I know nothing about the Android platform. I purchased a book, copyright 2014, "Android for Dummies." It (phone) is available online by invitation only!!! I got my invite yesterday, July 17/2014 and paid $350 for a top gun phone, unlocked. This video I'm sure will be useful at some point but I was expecting more basics for idiot like me. The most basics of a phone is how to engage it, how to set up voice mail, (my nephew informed me that I have to have a google email account, I have one, and Google owns Android.
I'm switching from iPhone 5S to a Galaxy Note 4 and your video is fantastic! Quality stuff. Thanks a bunch!
I'm not a native English speaker, but because you speak very clearly, I understood everything.
Thank you.
Jings! I've had my Samsung for almost a year now and watched this out of curiosity ... and discovered stuff I didn't know! Thanks.

Awesome video, David! Very well organized, and easily understood, even for the Geezer Crowd (like me!)
This video is sure to be helpful to those who have a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Never had a smartphone before (and I'm 17) so this video was very helpful for me :) BTW: 13:54 Lol.
