The fact that you don’t usually laugh out loud but still explaining Tolkien being up there makes me laugh out loud. So lovely ❤
Tolkien on top of the shelves was so cute!
I'm from Saskatchewan and know these same little libraries. Here in Croatia they're becoming more popular, though rarely in English. 😂
Yay for getting those little free libraries restocked!! Jared is going to need to build you.. I mean Tolkien some shelves at the new house 😛
Aww was nice of Tolkien to help you dust those hard to reach places. Loved the little free libraries - hopefully there will be some near to where you are moving. I really wish they were more common in the UK.
🤣 Brilliant! Yes, I'm sure that's exactly what he was intending!
So looking forward to learning more about Mr. Audubon's Lucy. Sounds perfecto.
I would have snagged Mr. Audobon's Lucy too, my curiosity is Piqued.
Tolkien is an excellent supervisor. He just wanted to make sure there were no books left on the top shelf 😅
Haha, yes, I'm sure that's what he was doing!
We loved Five feet Apart. It is very true to life on the life issues of CF kids. My nephew was diagnosed as a baby so my kids and the cousins grew up with this. His visits to the hospital for "tune ups" were a regular part of our family life. Invaluable lessons for them and several in the medical field now. It is a sad book but CF is sad. As an extended family, we tried to live life as normal as possible with him. So many great memories!!
And so many new developments since he died. You both should read the book!!❤ For 65 🌹🌹🌹
That was a fun and a little sad (last time visiting ... atleast unless you guys come for a visit) but good adventure!!!! I am trying to start slowly prepping for a hopefully soon-ish move...so I have a 1 in 1 out book policy atm!
Wow, our LFL are never that full.
Everything must be Tolkien approved!
Pendragon! (Sorry, I spotted two books at two different LFLs you visited, and it's my favorite series so I couldn't not notice 😅)
I can’t wait to see what LFLs you find in your new city!!
You know I've been looking . . . it looks like there's an area that has turned all the old newspaper stands into LFLs, I need to head there first!
@@ChantelReadsAllDay oooooh, how cool!
@@ChantelReadsAllDay that’s such a cool idea!!
Tolkien stole the show! What a great cat name.
I have a blanket up on top of my bookshelf as my cat loves to sleep there.
The blanket on the top is a great idea!
I haven't had much luck finding books in the little free libraries in my area. I have thought about putting one in my yard as we get a lot of foot traffic on my street.
It's really fun to have one and see what people put in there! I definitely find they can be hit or miss but I love the unknown and seeing what treasures I may find.
I am ashamed to say I only learned about Free Little Libraries last year. I moved so many times in my life and this would have been a great thing I could have done!
Apparently the first LFL was started back in 2009 but I only really heard about them during COVID.
Great video! I’m gonna try to go to a few Little Free Libraries and see what I can find and exchange sometime this week.
Saw the movie version of Five Feet Apart a few years ago. It was really good. I try to rewatch it whenever I can. It was soo good! Sad but good. The lead guy is played by Cole Sprouse, who’s Jughead in CW’s (now on Netflix) Riverdale.
I hope you find some good ones when you go!
Lol Tolkien 😂😂😂 "Just hanging out, mom. "
🤣
I love this free libraries but in Austria we don‘t have them in private place. We only have old telephonsboxes which are no longer used and so you can put your books in there. I thought about starting a little free library and maybe others will follow! 😅
I love that you have some in old phone boxes, that's cool! I'm sure if you started one it would slowly catch on!
I enjoyed Five Feet Apart… I read the book & watched the movie.
Great to know, thanks!
Were these all in town or did you go to the city too?
QUESTION- Where do I find the addresses of these free libraries?
There’s an app called Little Free Library. It has a map to help you find them in any area you are in.
