    RC Car MN-99 1/12 Defender D90 Hey bro where can I get diffential for my rc car?

  • @ColoradoMoe
    @ColoradoMoe 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good job on the rims. All I had to do is slice both rims and attach them together so both sides of the rims are a larger diameter.

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. But then the tires will not fit anymore?

    • @ColoradoMoe

      @@TheDIYGuy999 They do fit though the inside is a bit tight. Ill post the remix and photos on Thingiverse in the morning (it's almost 1am here)

    Love your video! At 50:00 you mentioned you were going to 3d print some bushings. I don't have a 3d printer so I used some silicone tubing from my Aquarium as a spacer, works fine!

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the praise. Yes, of course you can also use the tubing material for the bushings

    Good video my friend! About your shocks: Your link shows front shocks in bangod website only. Did you buy two pair of the same?

    Is there any way to make the suspension travel even longer and softer for more axle articulation for rock crawling?

    • @StuartBlack09
      @StuartBlack09 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try and put 1/10 scale shocks if ur crawler is 1/12, worked perfect for me!

    • @joshuasalisbury789
      @joshuasalisbury789 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could put the shock extension on the whole in the video and it should give shocks more angle

    • @joshuasalisbury789
      @joshuasalisbury789 ปีที่แล้ว

      Therefore softening and increasing articulation

    Nice damper conversion, but those springs are way too hard in my opinion

      I know. That's why I mounted the red stock springs on the WLtoys shocks later on

    Hi. Do you have a guide what exactly needed for wiring connection for the model? i have base car, additional complect with transmitter, Receiver and 10A ESC. But seems like it's not full complect (

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can see it in my other MN D90 videos. It's really simple. You just have to solder the included JST cable to the motor.

  • @brianhawkins866

    Kudos m8 but a tad half arsed, good idea though as it does indeed look too springy on return, but without bushes its never going to b the modification u want

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's certainly not a prefect mod and yes, there are no ball joints on the lower side. But it does the job.

      @@TheDIYGuy999 thinking of getting a d90 1/12th scale like the above, i have a axial deadbolt 2 but need something smaller to carry in a ruck sack, have you got an email address? Is the d90 any good as there's a cheaper traxx crawler that ppl seem to go after, want to unbox the thing and have fun in a wood with it Without having to drill things etc

    Good job now your truck has no flex

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, it has less flex now, but as you know, I like to drive fast. And for that it needs more dampening. It still has more than enough flex for my trail runs.
