Your mistake was not looking at MOT history before buying on Facebook marketplace. I bought mine from Facebook marketplace. I asked and my friends told me to put the car number into a system where I checked the mot history. If it has failed mot bcos of simple issues like light, etc, buy, if gearbox n complicated issues, don’t buy

Oh we actually did, the gearbox didn’t show in the mot history, my first video of when we bought the car I explained that people must check mot history, I don’t know how he maneuvered the mot passing with that kind of big issue.
