I just stayed in a Havana Cabana room last month and it was phenomenal. It's the only way to cruise for me going forward!

Hi John and Nancy! Yeah, we normally get an inside cabin or an ocean view. We have not stayed in a suite yet and this most recent cruise was our first in a balcony. It was a splurge for us. Appreciate you two!

Trust me… book the excel front corner suite. I just stayed in it and WOWWWWWW. What an amazing room.

Looks to be a lovely cabin but the tv placement is odd. I don’t care for the outdoor space. It seems spacious and the swing is cool but the fact that it isn’t very private and there isn’t much as far as a view directly from that space seems to take away from it. For the amount of money these cabins cost I wouldn’t be happy if I wasn’t already in the know.

Just got off Horizon and loved the Havana area, this area seems tiny in comparison. I will have to count up the number of Havana rooms but it doesn’t not seem worth it at first glance
That seems to be what a lot of people are saying.
Don't like how the Havana outdoor area is so small. On the Vista class it was located in the back but now it's cramped and extremely small. I hope on the Celebration this can be rearranged to where it was on the Vista class.
I agree. I loved the Havana Suite on the Vista, and the pool/hot tub area is much better. I wouldn't pay the premium price for a Havana cabin on the Mardi Gras, but have and would again on a Vista class ship.
@@lauravalentine9488 You share my same viewpoint! I struggle to understand why it's like that. I hope Carnival place the Havana section where it was! Because now there is no incentive to opp for the Havana cabin over a regular stateroom

Like the room alot! Just no view of the ocean! What's up with that and the Havana area looks so smaller compared to the horizon. Pool looks small
Yes, the pool is VERY small. I really liked the ocean suites a lot
Corner rooms are awesome! Check out corner rooms in all the ships. Not just this one.
That Room is bigger than my first apartment 😂😂😂
The only thing I don’t care for is the Television at the foot of the bed.
But otherwise that’s a great place for a family or group of friends to stay.
Lol. The TV does go down into the shelf area when you don't want to watch it :) But yes, I like my TV on a wall
Would flip living and bedroom so living has a view of the outside, TV placement at end of bed bad because unless sitting up, your feet are in the way because bed so tall. For the price, not sure worth it for the tiny tiny pool and no hot tub. But love the videos.

A great stateroom, but I hope you show an interior (4E) steerage cabin.
8209 is our Corner Suite for the September Sailing.
Problem we now have is the travel ban from the UK.
Absolutely Gutted beyond belief.
Personally, it doesn’t look as good as on the Vista and Horizon, but I am still excited that one day etc etc etc

Yes, the privacy thing is definitely a downer.
The Havana area on Horizon, and Breeze are better. The pool is bigger, and there are hot tubs.

What happened to the fancy showers like on the vista class Havana rooms?
I know, right? I loved the shower in the Havana Suite on the Vista. Heck, the whole bathroom is better what I have at home. Husband and I took 3 showers a day just to stand under the rain head shower.
I love the room layout but to pay the extra money to not have a view is a disappointment. I like the Vista Class layout better.
Definitely vista class Havana area is MUCH better!

I don’t know if I like the idea of not having a full on balcony looking out to the sea and having people being able to walk by. But the Havana pool area is an awesome perk
Yes. The Havana pool area in Mardi Gras is very small as compared to a ship like Horizon
Need to figure out what rooms are the best for ocean view
There are LOTS of good choices for ocean view. I would not recommend front facing balcony cabins as some people have reported you actually have to stand up to see the ocean.

Yes, plenty of room. We both have ours stored under the bed in our room. :)

`Have to wear a wrist band for a whole cruise, no way, I wouldn’t book that room just for that. Why can’t they just make access through the room key
It’s to easily identify who belongs in the area, prevent others from wondering in or bringing friends etc. Really isn’t a big deal at all, you can also remove the wristband when you don’t want to go in the area. It’s a standard “Livestrong” rubber bracelet.
@@AJ-bi6ns good to know, I can't stand those bands that you can't take off, I can't wear any rings or watches or anything when I sleep...personal weirdness I guess.
I have been on 85 cruises and this room is the worst. For $7k you get to look at a steel bulkhead and listen to crew party just one deck below. You cannot smoke on your balcony but get to smell the crew smoking everything under the sun and party. DO NOT waste your money on any Havana Cabana suite.

Poor layout and the pool is diminutive. Only 3 and 1/2 deep. Only can fit 8 people. Too boujee for a Motel 6 feel.

A suite is a waste of money. Think about it. Most of the time your not there. My next cruise is a Havana balcony. Absolutely worth it a suite not worth it. Take the extra money that you would spend on a suite and go see something or put it towards your next cruise.
