Asking Goans not to sell to Outsiders is NOT WORKING!!! Show me where it is working?? My own Aunty used a Karnataka lawyer in Goa to quietly sell her land to a Gujarati from Mumbai. She only told us after it was sold. And we had a very good relationship with her and the family. They moved to the UK. But the temptation of that unheard of money Outsiders are willing to pay for Goan land is unheard of!!! Even these Outsiders like Bollywood are buying Goan property to rent out as airb&b. This has happened in tourist spots in Spain and has destroyed the entire region with Outsiders coming and going. The few locals are crying every day as they are miserable! It destroys an entire community. THIS IS THE FUTURE OF GOA!!!.
If Goa was an independent nation we could have stopped Outsiders coming in and buying up our land. Now Indians are rich in the last 30 years and they are ready to pay whatever for Goan land!! Our demise is near!!!
Telling Goans not to sell to Outsiders has never worked!!! It has never worked yesterday and it will not work today or tomorrow!!! It is foolish to keep saying that!! Please stop saying that! Outsiders are willing to pay unGodly amounts for Goan land. And when i make this statement there are some Goans get excited thinking they must sell for this ungodly amount. This is the curse since 1961. The north of the country is a cesspool, nobody wants to live in it. Kerala is very strong to keep Outsiders out!
