Very interesting debate. One thing that has evolved from the discussion, is about the role of CM. That is the onus is on him, to show that he is in complete control of the situation and will try to bring this issue to logical conclusion in a transparent manner. Otherwise people of Goa will find it difficult to respect him as a capable and responsible leader.
I am aghast at the opinion expressed by the likes of Dr. Oscar, converting an horrific law and order situation into a Goan Identity issue. Goans have their peculiar and distinctive culture which needs be nurtured and protected. But to consider them God's chosen people is unacceptable
