DSPs are not necessarily IPS officers as far as I know. They could be from state police. Wherein a state can interfere. Whereas in case of IPS officers who are appointed by President of India(recommended by central govt), the only authority who can dismiss them is the President of India only after a thorough enquiry.
If BJP was in opposition, BJP would have made a big Drama n make a such a big noise that Law n Order has Collapsed, But now these same Blind Supporters of BJP don't find anything Wrong n they don't see that Law n Order has collapsed.
