Boiling honey to heal a wound - makes sense since honey has mad antibacterial properties and heat just cleanses the wound further. Wonder if it actually is a thing?
Excessive heat can have detrimental effects on the nutritional value of honey. Heating up to 37°C (98.6 F) causes loss of nearly 200 components, part of which are antibacterial. Heating up to 40°C (104 F) destroys invertase, an important enzyme. Heating will destroy beneficial enzymes and other properties found only in raw honey.
Ok. How did he leave so fast? At first I thought he went in the secret room behind the bookshelf from part 2, but he's living in a whole new place in that movie.
This reminds me of that scene in the movie Jaws when Brodie is sitting in the back of the boat and the shark comes up out of the water and startles him and he says to Quint (Robert Shaw) "you're going to need a bigger boat."
the dark empty units in scene 4:08 sure bring a sign of security for me to be in those place spying on the people who want to kill me. hiding there seems like the best option
“Find him or I’ll bring someone who can.” This boss is just not capable of doing anything isn’t he. Never once in the movie I see him do anything close to impressive besides sucker punching the Irish boss.
Is was like a recap type of deal when they pulled up he wasn’t in there let alone the same building, he just left the water on so the intruders and us would think he still there but he patched himself up maybe hours ago it was like a fake climax build up for us.

Have you noticed what Equalizer is doing? He isnt cooking. He uses the boiling oil to seal off his wound and stop the bleedings! The way the old medieval surgeons did... Hardly even moaning.... THAT is a show off of power of will! How he did notice the attack was on way, and managed to quietly get away, is another question.[ps. a commentator tells me it was honey. Maybe. The idea is surely the same]
@@idznihaziq Nay, I havent seen the whole oil. Honey?? What for? Of course, I presume its possible to seal off bleedings with boiling honey as well. With the great advantage the honey will with time dissolve into body tissues.
@@idznihaziq OK. Whatever. The idea is apparently the same; to pour the boiling fluid on his wound, and seal off the bleeding. (and kill off bacterias)
Yeah. Party Pooper here, given Denzel's resourcefulness, would have laid out shape charges designed to obliterate the interior and everyone in it, but leave the neighbors with only a moderate head ache. Basically an array of perchlorate powered shape charges full of rusted and fecal bacteria infested shrapnel. It's called White Lightning and can be set off with a 22 LR rimfire set in an aluminum tube. Hello? Too bad it would make for a seriously abbreviated movie. Reality sux eh?
I think this was more him gathering intelligence on exactly WHO is behind all this. Killing a few henchmen tells you nothing and the "powers behind it" just send more guys that you now have no idea who they are. Now he has something to work with. The low levels, the dirty cop, and the guy seemingly in charge with the different accent.

Another " Bourne " replica !
Only the one starring Denzel Washington.

Honestly, i think the boiling of the honey was to make sure that he has 0 chance of infection, who knows how long he had that honey bottle for
Honey is used in a lot of healing salves and poultices. It's like you said, just an all-around great antibacterial
It is.
It is and can be found at any Walgreens, Khols, or Walmart

This was great scenes in how he used deception to fool all of them in think he was actually there in that place.
How did he fool them? Was he nothere?

I need to remember that little life hack after I get a cut. Vinegar, honey and it looked like a little butter.
Just use turmeric. It cures all cuts and skin problems. It can even be used as anti dandruff solution.

A great Shaggy Dog scene.
Ok, first off, what apartment building would keep the main stairway in almost total darkness?
One with a shitty landlord or an irresponsible super.
The one I live in for example. Manual switches next to every door that turn on the lights for a couple of minutes.
The one a hit squad cut the power to.
It's a FICTIONAL movie, pick up a dictionary bruh
The one I live in. If it wasn't for the security lamp I installed myself, the stairwell would be pitch black.
How this Guy get out the bathroom before those bad guys open the door and sundelly he IS in another apartament?

Thanks it helped me install it
I thought for sure he was going to fling that pot of boiling honey in someone's face.
