"Sometimes you can't see bridges" from all the way across the pond l am chuckling. l adore this fabulously fantastic shows! l've loved getting to know the constants.
s2 is probably the best ever… i miss when the show was super fresh and everyone didn’t have everything all figured out, the tasks were simpler, the banter went harder… the show is still great but the first 5 series when everything was still new to both them and us was the best
Yes, and we used to get proper summers in my day, and the days were longer, and kids these days don't respect their elders, and blah blah blah blah blah.
i like how in the older series people understood the method to tasks less, but i prefer the newer series banter since they don’t plan it together anymore so it’s more chaotic
@@davidhoward4715Don’t get your panties in a bunch. Not everybody is entertained by the lazy, predictable, vaginal, modern feminist victim brand of “comedy.”
@@davidhoward4715 It stops being comedy when she gets something out of it. I don't think that was a good look for Katherine, regardless of the willingness of everyone else to play it as a joke. Joe's allergic to bananas and everyone ignores him. Katherine doesn't know how to tie a tie. But because she turns it into Battle of the Sexes (despite the fact many women do know how and many men don't) she gets a rule change. Yeah the tampon analogy is funny, but if it's just a joke you say it and let it go.
I think the tie thing is a cultural difference. Most women in the UK know how to tie a tie because there is a uniform culture at school- all genders usually wear ties with their uniforms, sometimes as early as primary school. This is much less common in Canada
We had to wear a tie like once a week in high school (boys and girls). Learned all the fancy ways to tie a tie. Now I'm out of college, and I'm not sure I could do even the most basic technique without instructions
Also, a lot of women wear ties and/or tie their s.o.'s or relatives' ties. And a lot of men don't know how to tie a tie (me for example, as I never wear those ridiculously pointless things). She was going a little overboard there I think, but I also think Richard solved it well by moving the comma, pity they left that out
Yes, I'm a British female and I know full well how to tie a tie. When I watch foreign (North American) TV, I am flabbergasted when a post-pubescent male can't tie a Goddamn tie, it must be normal over there. I am a bit annoyed none of the men picked her up on it

Strongly agree.🎉

@@peterclarke7006yea yeah yeah but he’s still right.
@@hawsrulebegin7768 yup. Even the nostalgia's not what it was, is it?
Makes me want to watch this series again! :)
You know you ARE a weirdo when Joe Wilkinson tells you, you are weird. 😆😆😆😆
Big fan of Katherine Ryan when she loses her shit lol. Joe was great also. Incredible scenes
Mate! I have JUST rewatched this series, and then you had to do this!?
When Joe Wilkinson calls you Weird
There's no coming back from that !
At 7:40, is that Jimmy Carr and his braying laugh?
Absolutely that's Jimmy
It's not, it's Alex. He has a similar laugh to jimmy's at times, I've noticed it before.
That was Jimmy, good ear. It wasn’t Alex because it sounded too far away (as opposed to just turned down on his lav mic).
That sounded nothing like Jimmy Carr.
Alex would have made a fantastic Arthur Dent
In defense of the tie task, I have to reference a YT video every time I tie a tie so I think the task was pretty fair.
I suppose you only wear slip-on shoes as well. 🙄
Hi guys
Venom
I miss unadulterated Katherine. :(
Wait what happened to her?
Plastic surgery@@-Gnarlemagne
Rather appropriately, I was surprised to see her raise her eyebrows!
@@whatever4065a lot of it 😭
She’s so naturally gorgeous here
Catherine Ryan plays the professional victim better than Bruno Fernandez.
Well, she is Canadian…….
You don't really understand comedy, do you?

You're just proud of your ability to use a tampon like a little lady

"Let's all put on a tampon" is something I'm going to work into daily conversation
Jon and Joe are my favourites

I'm a guy and the only times I've had to wear a tie was my high school graduation and a wedding, so I won't bother learning. TH-cam tutorials suffice.
And America (the US).

"let's all put in a tampon" 😂😂😂😂
JOE DID NOTHING WRONG!!
