Got 8 Mythics (Imperial Seal, Full Art Shephard, Mana Vault,…) and other sweet stuff in it that doubled the boxes prices. I hope, that youll get some sweet pulls tomorrow in your collector box! I just pulled a borderless seal and borderless phyrexian altar out of a draft. Out of 2 collector boxes I got a textured ulamog, foil dockside, borderless foil drain, borderless foil force, borderless foil teferris, and borderless foil concordant crossroads. Feeling very good about my boxes.
I haven’t received my box yet (waiting on my lgs to get it, as the store is in renovations so it should arrive Friday). I mainly want Bitterblossom, Smothering Tithe, Crossroads, and Phyerexian Altar but the set is so stacked that unless I get all bulk mythics and few decent rares I won’t be upset, as I’m a big commander player. But from what I’ve seen, this is a set to buy singles from unless you’re looking to bolster your collection. It’s absolutely not a set to buy if you’re looking for profit as I have seen such a huge disparity.
Got my 2 Boxes today.... Great Pulls.. But so many dubs.. 2 Imperial Seals ( foil + borderless) 4 Caverns of Souls ^^ ( 2 normal 1 foil 1 borderless) 3 Aether vials ^^(2 normal 1 borderless ) ... the rest was more or less bulk.. even the m´s. Got 7 more m´s but 3 of them dubs as well ^^.
I got that stupid hell something dragon in normal and in foil, both add up to like 2$...the box before this was a commander legends and i got two elminsters one reg one foil...wish someone would beat the hell out of the wizard employee that allows dup mythics in one box..such bs, so hard to get a mythic then to get two bulk ones in a box is bs
That was a rough box, my condolences. I had one rough collector box, but the second one we opened had a textured foil Liliana, borderless Wrenn and Six, and a few other solid hits that more than made up for it. I'm sure you'll be running hot soon enough!
Average box here, bad luck mate, but this is unusual. Most i have seen are full of value. I got an Imperial Seal in the first pack opened in my 1/2 box. Looking forward to your collector box opening tomorrow. Love that you are opening whole boxes
Tbh, even if there wasnt that many splashy cards inside, i think the box is average. 6 mythics is what most of these boxes have inside. Bitterblossom and dromoka are being quiete nice hits. I dont think it was a bad box. Just nothing crazy.
That’s why I’m not in it to flip. I’m buying one collector and draft box each to bolster my collection and improve/finish/build commander decks, so unless I get shafted really hard I won’t be upset. If I get an Emrakul I already have a friend that will trade for it, and any big hits are gravy.
I notice these boxes either you pull a seal / wren to breakeven or you just lose money. Too many junk rares, high risk high reward. Hope you get better luck.
