The 458 is one of my fav Ferrari’s congratulations. It’s a beautiful car, last naturally aspirated V8 and its more raw and sounds better than the newer line up. I bought my 458 spider 3 years ago and it’s a keeper for me . And you already had the best/ most fun 911 manual GT car in the 997.2 GT3 RS.. Another keeper these two will keep going up in value as well. Very special cars

Congrats on the new car! I love the 458. I owned one for 6 months. You've got to drive the McLaren 650s if you haven't already. Having owned both, If I had to pick between the 458 and the 650s, I'd take the 650s all day (Better Driving Experience overall). However, can't beat that 458 exhaust sound 100%.
He owned a 765lt, tried to flip it and he lost money by modding it and got banned from mclaren

@@MiamiMiles Yeah you already have peak GT Porsches on your driveway. 997.2 3RS and 4RS are the best. The 4.5L was crazy but redundant next to the RS's. I would have gone 458 too.

458 sounds glorious! It’s the OG FPC V-8, which is why Chevy copied it with the C8Z. Speaking of which, have you driven a C8Z yet? Love the channel!

Wow! Been watching you almost since the beginning--think you had 2 or 300 subscribers when I joined. Early on said you will have a Ferrari some day. It was inevitable. And here it is! A very nice one, as the last of the NAs, and you are correct that it stands above both the F8 and 488 because of that. While the 599 GTO would be my first choice...if Bill Gates adopts me...great pickup! Looking forward to content on it, although sorry to see that great Porsche go. Congrats, Mick!

Congrats! Will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the 4rs especially once you give this an exhaust upgrade. How’s the “rawness” feeling versus a stock touring?
I can't wait until this gets an exhaust upgrade. It will be incredible. So far, it is just as livable as a touring. With the valve controller, it's more Tesla than Ferrari haha. Only things that are not as good as the touring (not manual, no car play, shitty speaker phone).

You could've just added a an exhaust and gotten straight through cats to make the F8sound better, but the 458 does sound better.
The porsche sounded meaner, was faster and was a better daily driver. But the fact really is that you need new content and somethong had to go and the F8 was not in tour budget unless you sold something else. Still subsriced because I still like your channel
Honestly, you're right. I could've afforded the F8 easily by selling my 4RS as well. The issue wasn't as much selling my 4RS as that I didn't get any emotion from the F8. I've heard them straight piped and they sound good, but the car just doesn't do it for me.
You've probably head the 458 straight piped as well. That is the shit.
Bottom line 458 > F8 for me for the following reasons.
1. Always wanted a 458 since I was 19
2. 4RS + 458 > F8 IMO
3. Sound
4. Residual Value
Regarding the DeMan.
1. DeMan was a better daily.
2. DeMan did sound better.
3. DeMan feels faster and crazier.
But I have the 3RS which does 2 and 3 above almost as good as the DeMan. Overall, you're right. I get a new experience, new content, and a mint 458 to enjoy.

The best thing about the 458 over any of my previous supercars including R8s and 570s is how special it feels when you see it in the garage and get inside. Especially if it's in a great spec and condition like this one.

Ferrari did nail it with the 458 and that's an awesome spec. I agree with what you said - balanced garage is wise - and I have the same car tastes and priorities. That's going to be much more fun than a 488 or F8. NA + 9k = 🥳
