This would be great for large npcs
There's not a nav mesh nor is there a good way to generate one for this map

@@rendann true but if theres no navmesh they are kind of lost
@@rendann but with drg, most NPCs using that base require a nav as most drg NPCs are actually nextbots from what I know.
However I agree with @FireMaster_
@@MLGLuigiGamer I played with DRGbase and the AI was able to see and chase players through multiple chunks and attack. However npcs larger than a chunk(10000 inches) tend to break easily.

Necros, There is one single planet that stands out, it’s right near spawn and between a hill and the valley. It’s a planet with a forest, a real sky sphere, and some real grass!
This is absolutely incredible. Since s&box has taken too long, I swear GMod is being upgraded to be a s&box 1.5 😅
To be fair I think even if it's Source 2 only like 3% of the playerbase is switching to s&box.

Its a neat trick with the skyboxes of the map. The map itself isn't actually very large

They can, they just won’t find the fastest path possible to you.
this is be perfect for things like carter's addon pack, spacebuild, other plane and spaceship mods, etc.
Gmod is one of the best games out there 100%
this map from memory has some weird invisible boundaries but its still awesome

I LOVE THIS MAP! I can go anywehere!!!! I can go infinite I can go high in space. I also love space... I love all these garrysmods any you too. I can now make a space station. Build a whole city. So amazing :D Thank u for showing this mod.

imagine LFS planes, except someone made a rocket addon and it works for this map
They should make it so it generates the nodes, or it generates preset chunks that already have navmesh rather than random chunks.
The thing is I think that everytime you load a new nav mesh, you would need to restart the game. I'm uncertain if its true, but I've played custom tf2 maps with bots and I need to restart the map.

@@HypnoGF_Real the main issue is that if you were to make it generate the nav mesh it follows each chunk and overlap each chunk if you generate multiple and the only way to fix that is to detour the nav mesh library which I don't even know if it's possible and it is it would require an astronomical amount of work to detour it all. so your better off making a custom AI base

hey guys how do i dowload the map? i mean where i need to put all files in?
In addons folder i think
if you open the zip you will see map lua and materials. you will see the same folders in gmods files. drag and drop the contents of the files to their respective folders

that's actually a great idea!
It's possible, but there would be no 3D sound of the lights and no lighting. It's not possible to proceduraly generate baked lightmaps.
