    Another great video. My Luba is out mowing right now, or it was anyway. It just went home to charge. Anyway, I have mine turning around on a makeshift patio so that it doesn't make donuts. I also had a few issues mapping my yard and let Mammotion know. They said they are aware of what I reported and are working on it. Point is, they are steadily improving the software and refining their product. Luba is brand new and pretty much first of its kind. Given that, I'm super impressed with how well it is working right out of the box. Next will be to see how long it lasts, hopefully many years.

      Yeah any product I buy on Kickstarter I expect it to be not fully baked out of the box but I'm sure they'll get it all ironed out eventually. The only thing I'm bummed about is no cellular connectivity

    The new software is different and hard to figure out how to edit with, deleted my old map and made a new one but when I hit edit it tries to edit the map and no option for adding a no go zone, they really screwed up by noting having a complete video tutorial, not very professional to not have a complete tutorial explaining every setting in the new software.

    Thanks for all your videos on the Luba! Also grateful you covered some questions I have had re the RTK and line of site to Luba. One silly question does your RTK cable connect from the roof to the back of the base station or to its own power supply? Appreciate the posts! Greetings from Austria

    Thx for the great video. I'm thinking about buying a Luba but my garden is a bit more complicate than yours so I'm worried if it's able to manage the size. It's about 43.000ft2 in total. Meadow orchard, vegetable garden, flower areas, gravel path... So it think that I won't operate at the same speed like in your front yard where is no tree at all and Luba could mow at high speed.
    Could you estimate the mowing size per hour of your Luba if it's in your "backyard" with more trees, corners, obstacles, etc?
    Thx for your help!

    When you delete a task area Luba keeps it in memory so you have to reboot the Luba to get the old task area out of memory

    Hi. Another good video, hopefully I get my delivery within a week now. A question, can you make a no go island within an area.

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, That's exactly how the no go zones work They are a island inside an area. They can be as little as one tree or as big as a pond

    If i were to buy a used luba is it hard to unbind luba/rtk for me to use at my property?

    • @Crazypostman

      The previous owner must disconnect the luba from their account before they sell it or you won't be able to reactivate it. I've never actually done this so I'm not sure on the process. Maybe I'll make a video of trying to do this later this week.

    thanks for the video. at the point where you have now separated the large area, there are some problems because the two zones intersect. it seems that the luba then omits a small area at the border. how is he working for you now? Thanks

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว

      I overlapped the second area into the first one by a foot or two

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But I'll keep an eye on it and see if there's places it's missing

      @@Crazypostman When you overlap two areas, does it end up cutting twice, or does it automatically subtract out the overlapping area so it only gets cut once?

    how many max acres is recommended vs how many do you think it can actually do? 1.5 vs 5? 1.5 vs 10? Which model did you get? with Kickstarter? Can we cut 5 acres into 10 .5 acres? can we tell it to cut all 10 areas right after one another? thx

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well 1.2 is the max recommended but if you leave it running 24/7 you could probably get 5 acres if it's not a complicated yard. What I mean by that going around trees and oddly shaped patterns will add time to its routine

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว

      The model I have is from Kickstarter so it's not really any of the models that are pre-order now. It is a four-wheel drive model but it's model number just says luba 0001 so It could be different from the current models.

    What diameter is your mounting pole for the RTK?

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know for sure, It's a satellite dish mounting pole. 1.75 - 2 inches That's a guess though. The luba RTK pole is smaller and just slides down into it. I put a bunch of tape around the bottom to cause a snug fit

    S.D: Standard deviation of positioning

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว

      So smaller numbers bettet! Is it in centimeters?

    • @aaronbutler5969
      @aaronbutler5969 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Crazypostman it is page 44 of the owners manual. Looking up just standard deviation though The standard deviation is the average amount of variability in your dataset. It tells you, on average, how far each value lies from the mean.
      A high standard deviation means that values are generally far from the mean, while a low standard deviation indicates that values are clustered close to the mean.
      So like if you used 100 different thermometers to measure the temperature
      I am not worried enough to email and ask to verify though. 🙂
