- I bought this box of sports cards and rare Pokémon cards from Goodwill’s online retailer Shopgoodwill. With shipping, taxes, and the cost of the box of cards, it cost a total of only $25. The reason I bought this lot of sports cards was because I saw several high end vintage sports cards, primarily the basketball cards (1986 NBA Fleer Cards) sitting on top. But, shortly I realized that was not where I would make money on this lot. The Pokémon cards I believe are the big winner the only problem is most of them are in Japanese and I can’t look them up easily lol…Let me know if you think it was worth the cost?!

That looks like a handful from 10 different collections put into that box. Hard to believe anyone collector would have that spread in years and types of cards.
Favorite current player is Ohtani hands down. Really breaking barriers in MLB! My favorite all time player was Nolan Ryan. I remember watching the Houston Astros visit KC Royals in the 1991 and Nolan Ryan was the starting pitcher. Even though we were in Raytown MO visiting some family, my brother and I were the only ones in our vicinity to root on Ryan and the Astros. The game went on for 18 innings if I remember correctly. Ryan wasn’t in his prime, but that was the first ever MLB game I was able to attend! 🔥🔥🍀🍀

Correct Pokemon is just a shortened version of Pocket Monsters. Which when Americans got a hold of it we made it shorter and with the video games it really took off.

You’ve got old Pokémon cards!!! You got venasaur!!! Charizard!!! A lot of nice holos and older cards!! Some are bulk / common but the poke world is HUGE. HUGE HUGE MARKET‼️‼️ there is first edition cards that are stamped on the bottom left side of the picture in the card!!!
Not all holos are worth big money but you have some decent ones!!!!
The pocketmonster ones are old school Japanese cards!!! Pokémon has tons and tons of sets!!

I love Ozzie Smith! And you have some shadowless pokemon cards which are the second American printing. They can be valuable. You can tell by looking for a shadow along the right side of the picture frame...if it has no shadow it is shadowless. Just found you recently and love the content!
As a life long Cards fan Ozzie Smith is one of my favorites of all time as well! Interesting I need to look back through them again to look for the shadowing. Thank you so much for the advice and support!

Look for Swirls in the Holo patterns of all those sweet cards, swirls in the holo will demand a higher value also!! Also, Ancient Mew is a neat card!
Thank you for your help! After reviewing them again, I feel like several of the Japanese cards have the swirl in them but a few I feel like it’s debatable. Is there a way to tell for sure?
@@RadFinds really have to just go by reflection with light. You will get partial swirls and nice pronounced full swirls. There is no rhyme or reason, luck of the printing process.

Interested in the Pokemon cards less the ones you want to keep. Let me know! Thanks... Charizard is a real nice card, condition sensitive. Venusaur is a sweet Card, Aerodactyl is from Fossil Set and a nice card, If you have any with the 1st Edition Stamp they would be worth more. All the Holo cards are cool, and can vary from a couple bucks on up. The more desirable ones can demand decent prices. The Japanese Holo's are cool. Blastoise at 21:37 is cool. Some great cards at 22:00 and on....
The pokemon cards the 1st edition are the most expensive and shadow or non shadow will figure into the value. The original set was reprinted in evolutions so you gotta check the set symbol in the bottom left corner.

I look my up by the names and numbers at the bottom. It will tell you what some of the current sales.i just use Google. Nice finds.super awesome
If I were to guess I would say you have about 700 in ungraded pokémon cards. I would think about grading the charizard, Japanese slowking, venusaur , Japanese lugia and the Japanese gengar also as they are in psa 10 condition. If any of the baseset cards are in psa 10 condition I would grade them as well.
Any of the holographic cards are worth a ton, also on the border of the picture of the Pokemon there is a shadow, some cards don't have that and the ones that don't have a shadow are also worth a lot
I don't know much about pokemon but I know 96 was the 1st year of it. They have to be pretty valuable. I know that vulvsar or whatever is pretty popular And some of those old trainers have value as well. The ones from japan even hold pretty good value. But anything from nineteen ninety six is worth looking up

Nice hits on the Pokémon cards bro. Top hits cards are charizard, venisor, japanese lugia is a big hit almost as rare as the charizard. Japanese slowking, Japanese Pichu. Mewtwo, Japanese gym challenge gengar is a big hit. Non of the cards are first edition or shadowless. Non holos of those non holos are worth much

If it has a small black star to the right of the number star is rare .diamond is uncommon .circle is common what is the number on the American charizard. #4 is the best if it is first edition it will be left below picture .shadowless means the right side of pic will not have a shadow going up n down on that side.the Egyptian pic looking card is ancient edition

Id advise taking ur time processsing the pokemon, while alot of your big hits are Jpn and they are more difficult to sell, there are some nice cards.
Pocket monster is what they call it in japan. It's the same thing as pokemon here

That charizard is great condition but i am pretty sure the paul brother owns a first edition which can be worth 100s of thousands and yours could be a few hundred

Damn man… you have a ton of very good Pokémon cards… that charizard is like the one Jake Paul had except yours is not 1st edition or shadowless. It’s still a valuable card! That venusaur and pichu are good cards as well, along with those Japanese holos and the first edition jolteon!! Good haul man!!!

U can take a pic of the Japanese card and have Google translate it.. what numbers on bottom right if it has a- black star to the right of the number .the right side of the pic has a dark shadow. If not it's shadowless
Not bad in pronouncing them the Aerodactyl and the Mr. Mime for holos would be good 30-40$ cards and the Venusaur non Holo is pretty decent depending on year it could be valuable if graded well. They also look to be in good condition. Mike lowery would love a box of them 😂
