Hi Marie, I have a couple of questions, first I have a build-in office and I am turning my back to the wall and facing a window front and side, I do have a large mirror on my right side on my desk so with no effort I can see what's going on behind me. Are there other things I could do?

Thanks Marie. All great info. I have 2 questions: 1) what do you do if facing your office door means turning away from your energy numbers’ ‘power’ direction? Which of the two gets priority? 2) what happens if the window your desk looks out of overlooks the front door (where clients would enter) but has its back to the office entrance? Does the hallway door of a home office still get priority over a front door entrance visible from the window? I hope your answer to these questions helps someone else too. Thanks in advance.

The appartment entry is in the real north. Can I still point the desk in north direction in the living room which is a real west room ? My success direction is north. I am a Kua 4.

My office work is at the dining room table (I am able to see the front door and I am sitting in a high back chair in my success direction), I make the products in my kitchen and all of my material is stored in another room. Any advice as to how I may be able to bring success being that I use 3 different rooms for my business. For the moment I am not able to have all 3 in one room. Thank you
Office is in my bedroom and I'm already planning to cover up the desk and separate it with a room divider during the day from the bed. What do you think? Also I bought a Beautiful macrame hanging from drift wood that I thought would have good feng shui because it made me think of victory -very elaborate and almost shaped like a crown at the top. I cannot believe this video was free. Thank you so much Marie. I am starting my own business from home and have now cleared the spare room. The door opens to the right of the room, parallel to the window at the end of the room. I was going to use the wall to the left of the window but will now put my desk in front of the window, parallel to the door and put a rug in front. I can see how this will allow me to feel more open and powerful! I loved this video - thank you for your fantastic way! I'm going to rewatch, take notes and subscribe!

I've got a desk where my closet use to be. I've decorated it with osb boards which to me gives it an office creative feel.
It was in the closet itself but now knowing my professional success direction it is now facing east but it has a wall in front and a doorway behind.
The gap is too small if I was to face the desk to the door and the wall behind me to actually sit down and the space would be very tight even sitting as I wouldn't be able to get in and office, and the view at the moment faces the bathroom door. To me that doesn't feel good feng shui.
The other option is to make space in my closet/which is now a whole bedroom and have a space solely for the desk facing the door with a wall behind me.
But subconscious as it's in a guest room/closet lots of clothes wouldn't it be hiding (due to it being a now closet and space for a sofa bed?

My desk faces the wall my front door is to the right and my side door is behind me a bit to my left not directly. I am facing my east direction which is my success direction. Is this right? I have a small bedroom well setup as a home office for my successful online business. I can only see my door if I place my desk against the wall. If I place my desk facing the only window my back will be to the door. Not possible to place my desk against either of the other two walls. How can I remedy this situation?

I have a question about my husbands office that I just set up in our spare room. Where do I put his desk ? His number is 1 if I put his desk facing the door to the his new office his success direction will be in the back of him on an angle like this 📐 or do I put his desk in the middle with his back to a flat wall and I put what you suggested on the his success corner. He has been out of work since July 2020 and has not had a job offer even though he has been in few interviews and had worked so many hours to find a job but he was looking for work in our loft area with his back to the stairs opening and facing a small window of his wisdom direction that has not resulted in him getting any job offers.
Marie, I work in an open-cube in IT with the person sitting on my energy direction having a very cluttered desk despite telling him to clean it up many times. Is there anything I can do?
Hi Marie, You say to have space in front of your desk and not be against a wall but I teach on line and have 2 computers on my desk and have to have access to electrical plugs which is not possible if the desk is out from the wall. At the moment i face a window which means i can see people and deliveries coming to the house but the door to the room is to my side/back. I also have to have freestanding white boards on my side of the desk in order to teach online. What is the most important? What if you have your office/studio in a space where it’s virtually impossible to place your desk so that you see the door?
I live in an open space studio apartment. My music studio desk and an additional office desk are placed in a space which is like a wide hallway between the living room and the terrace door in the back of the house.
Each desk is placed against a wall and it’s virtually impossible to place them otherwise because they will block the passage way in this “hallway”. It would also look bad and be impractical. And the place isn’t big enough to move my studio and office desk elsewhere. This is what I got and have to work with.. Believe me I’ve tried.
I’m not in a position to move at the moment neither do I want to because I love this house!
I’ve tried to follow the feng shui rules when I first moved here but I really don’t see how it can be done in this space.
I’d read something online that if it’s impossible for you to face the door then you could hang a painting that has scenery on your wall (if you’re facing the wall). It means you are looking at a horizon and welcoming abundance.

I live in a bedsit and I'm self employed. The table I use for eating is the same I use as a desk after clearing my plate off. Does it still work ?

Hi Marie and to everyone on this page. I am reporting my testimonial after applying just a few of your tips you suggested. :)
I have placed two pics of open landscape with no water, on the wall facing my desk. These were just pics from a magazine as I haven't yet found a painting that resonates, and here's what happened:
1) The next day I went to the laundry machine and paid $5 to load my laundry card. It was night time without too much light, but i noticed something on the floor: It was a $10 bill ! :)
No one was around to claim it, and i felt thankful as it was a sign from the universe that I am resonating in the frequency of abundance again! :)
2) Three days later I got booked for a movie. We worked a bit overtime so I was blessed even more with extra income :)
3) The day I was filming I found two 10 cent coins on the floor. Regardless the amount, it's the significance of it :)
4) Yesterday I had a message to appear as a guest on a radio show. :)

May I ask about a home office / craft-room? In my room it is virtually impossible for me to have my large desk facing the door due to the wrap around crafting table and other things built into the wall. The only way for the desk to fit is to have it up against the wall next to the door facing south. I can see the door to my hallway that is on my right hand side. So how would I fix this issue since there is no way I can move the desk? Thank You for your advise :-)

Hi Marie. My living room became working from home office due to the pandemic. My living furnitures were moved to a corner to give way to my office. Also stocks of our products and files are all stacked up in the living room. I lived in a condo so space is limited. What can you advice on this?
May I suggest, you follow her exact directions on placement location for specific types of items & put things in the area where they belong. To create order, easy access & accommodate visual appeal, consider a storage system. Neatly organize products & supplies in a large cabinet or on book shelves with a movable privacy screen or curtains to hide contents. The IKEA catalogue is a great resource for inspiration of practical solutions. You'll likely find functional ideas designed for efficient use in tight spaces. One of their custom fit wardrobes may provide the perfect adaptation in your situation. Some options look like permanent built in additions but can be easily disassembled when circumstances change. The main door where we come into our living space is always considered the front. For people who live in houses and use the garage door as their main entrance, the house’s front door is still the front, not the garage door.
Question: I face the entrance to my office (south) Directly behind me (north) is a wall with a large mirror. Is that ok to have behind me?

facing south is your success direction but having a mirror behind you is not good. you are doubling your self and will feel more overwhelmed. Also the only one that supports you is you - you double your self
depending if the entrance is south - you can work with orange, peach purple, lilac

Does it matter what direction the desk faces, I have a home office and if I place my desk opposite the door it's going to face the main door
this is not about facing the main door but the door to your office. You need to see the people enter your home office area. Plus if you can then face one of your good directions

A shame you don't address people working in their living room which is what many do as they don't have a separate office. I'm in my living room and it's impossible to sit facing the door. I also have no hallway door in the living room, you enter via my kitchen. I have a high-back chair, but still wouldn't sit in front of a window. That feels totally off.
My desk is exactly the way you described. I have a wall behind me and see the door. But I don't see results till now
