How come it says that delivery is in a private room but on RCH website it says that there is Private/Semiprivate at extra cost. It seems like there is conflicting information.
The active labour and delivery rooms on the second floor are private, but after the baby is born your transferred to the maternity unit on the third floor. Here they have "ward rooms" (4 beds) or private/semiprivate (2 beds) at a charge. Currently private is $195/night, semiprivate $165.
