This is an MSR, a traditional competition medley featuring a 2/4 march, a strathspey, and a reel, as might be played at the professional level of solo bagpipe competition. This was recorded to contrast with the same MSR played at a Grade 1 level, which is the highest grade of amateur solo competition in the United States. It is featured as part of a longer performance compilation video, titled "Listening, Especially for the Nonpiper."
