Another relatively underdiagnosed complication of contrast is what is called " Contrast induced mumps"; manifested with parotid and or submandibular gland swelling and tenderness, usually 12 hours after procedure. Management could be just conservative, while antihistamines or dexamethasone could be given for severe cases.

I do not have any experience in aspiration from coronary sinus during contrast injection, but here is a recent study showing that it can remove about one third of the administered contrast: www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/CIRCINTERVENTIONS.116.004348
