    Thanks for sharing the struggles. We all experience these things and perhaps this will help others "move on". There are solutions, they might not be pleasant, but they aren't life ending.

      Honestly it just made sense to give it up and not be stuck with the payment. I would rather do that instead of being constantly stressed out all the time and worrying and not being able to sleep.

    I'm truly sorry to hear of you unfortunate decision to release the Gold Wing 😢 I do feel your pain. The KLR is what brought me to your channel but the content and information you share keeps me returning.

      I'm not happy about it but at this stage of the game I just really need to get out of debt and keep working on building the business, because the fact is that I truly love what I am doing now and I really want it to succeed and sometimes we have to make sacrifices that will benefit us in the future more than what we want today or tomorrow. I hated seeing it go but At least I still have the KLR and I can still use it for the business and get my throttle therapy...lol

    Here in AZ if you return a car or a bike to the lender. The party returning the vehicle is responsible for the difference from the selling price and what is owed on the loan. Not sure what the laws are in Utah. Wish you luck Riding brother. You will get it all fixed. I have been there before and it is no fun.

      it's the same every where, however if I do owe anything after the sale it shouldn't be much at all, this bike is a sought after bike so it should sell at top price for sure.

    Sorry to hear this. Between the credit card interest and the KLR loan, payoff whichever has the higher interest rate first. Typically this will be the credit cards.

    • @mymotorcyclelifestyle
      @mymotorcyclelifestyle  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh you know the credit cards are much higher, I will be paying them down as much as possible for sure, I can handle the payment on the KLR for now. I really need to get those cards paid down,

    At least try to find someone to take over the payments on the Honda because a voluntary return will hit your credit for a long time. It may even cause card hikes in interest depending on the card agreement. Finding someone to transfer the Honda debt to legally and fully will get you from under that payment and won't harm your credit reporting on that bike. It will even help mitigate a little bit of negative hits on your credit because it will show you worked through it.

    • @mymotorcyclelifestyle
      @mymotorcyclelifestyle  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I understand it's going to hit my credit, but an actual repo will stay on the credit for 7 years, a voluntary return only stays for two years, and since I have a 100% payment history on all the credit cards and the other bike, that is not going to hurt me that bad to be honest.

      @@mymotorcyclelifestyle Okay but at least try or take it back to the dealer and ask for a buyback. It ain't over till it's over. Try.

    • @mymotorcyclelifestyle
      @mymotorcyclelifestyle  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Believe me I asked what few friends I had if someone could buy it or take it over, The dealers around here won't even let you put something on consignment there let alone buy something back from you. This is the only thing I can do at this point.

      it's all good, I mean NO I didn't like giving it up, but at the same time I didn't like being stressed every single day about making that payment and the insurance and all the other payments I have, something had to give and that was the break in the chain, I thought about it for a long time, before I made up my mind but it still didn't make it any easier to give up... I'm alright because I still have My KLR and I can still ride every day and do what I need to..

    Advertisement work in certain areas but are much too expensive. When I worked at the dealership some radio adds and click bait on a computer was like 25k a year. Wild ….. unfortunately most people aren’t listening to radio , or newspapers etc. you end up paying for clickbait that gets swiped over by the average guy. It’s super unfortunate and 100% commission based so they always try and sell advertising like they do. also showing up on a paid bike always looks better than showing up with some fancy flashy bike the bank owns, it looks much worse having to loose that flashy thing over a payment . Why you always buy toys cash . Hard lesson I learned years ago. Was in a similar boat as yourself . 50k of debt and nothing to show for it . Took a couple years I’m now on track to retire with a couple mil in the bank. Don’t beat yourself up owning a business is always hard especially on start up.

    Sell it so you do not take the credit hit

    • @mymotorcyclelifestyle
      @mymotorcyclelifestyle  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I thought about that but no place would take it on consignment, it's not a big deal really, that credit hit won't stay on there long at all.

      I have been riding gold wings my entire life, I learned on dirt bikes and had a few cruisers when I was younger but then I got my first gold wing, and let me tell you there is no better bike, they are simply the best bike there is for road riding, but I do like the KLR or I wouldn't have bought it in the first place..

    Your motorcycle sounded like a lawn mower.
    I've never in my life earned more than $3600 per month, and that was for just one month. Earning $15 per hour part time means I can't buy much. I own almost nothing and don't even own a car. I live in a rented room. I travel using a 125 cc scooter. If I ride to the place where I work it takes an hour, because the scooter can't ride on the Interstate Highway.
    If you can afford $4000 per month you're doing better than millions of people in the USA.
    It's Brandon's economy screwing everybody.

      working 14 to 16 hours a day 7 days a week just to pay my bills is not in my opinion living. I would love to be able to work 5 days a week and still be able to pay the bills and take some time on the weekend to do what I want and not be broke sitting at home wishing I could do something. But that is the nature of the beast these days.

      I'm not sure if you actually watched the video, not one time did I blame the economy on my problems. I said I got screwed by advertising, that did nothing for the company they just took my money and I never got a single call from any ad at all. I never said a thing about the economy...

      @mrmoneyhelper keep grinding. You will eventually get ahead based on the way you are living. Just don't fall into the trap of financing more toys everytime you get a raise. Learn to work on old cars/bikes. A few tools will get you a long way in life. Lots of good vehicles on the cheap if you know what you are lookin at. Finance a car and you will be a slave to the system for 5 years or more like dude in video.

      @@mymotorcyclelifestyle The economy comment was additional information. It is also true that since Brandon became president, his anti-American business attitude has made things worse for everybody.
