- This is the 4th video of our lecture series about rebar cutting list. this video series is intended for Civil Engineering students and for those who are just starting in the industry.
all of this knowledge would not be possible if hindi ako tinuran ng mga teammates ko sa construction (big thanks) at naexperience magkamali first-hand(nagkakamali din ako hehe). I am sharing this thoughts so that ung iba din ay magkaidea.

in my early years being a CE sa implementation- masasabi kong magaling pala ako..haha.no mentor,nag iisang engineer, ako na rin lahat nagpreprepare ng boq, costing pati implementation. cutting of rebars i would say madali lang intindihin,.. female engineer here.

overlapping joint for 16 is 40% of dia = 640 mm, 10mm is 400 mm, sa vertical or horizontal joint. stirrups na may 45 deg bend inside what is the arrangement when between slabs and no slab beside.the kasador

Ano pong app ginamit nyo to animate yung rebar inside the imaginary rectangular prism (rc beam)?
Engr ask ko if 4 ang Main bar sa beam regardless kng top or bot bar. Ilan ang cont. Bar and extra bar? 2 parn ba ang cont. Bar tapos 2 na ang extra bar? Or 3 and cont. Bar at isa parn ang extra bar?

depende sa requirement ni Structural engr., 2h is required for SMRF seismic provision ng NSCP, iba kapag OMRF.

Bakit merong maliit na bend (= a) sa both ends ng extra bars? Requirement ba? Anong objective?
Pang hook para sa joint action beam to column or hook ay kailangan dahil baka di nasatisfy yung ld na kailangan

1.)yung sa polyline na part, naconsider niyo po ba ang column cover??gusto ko lang e confirm kasi manipis ang column.
2.)standard na po ba ung d=100 or may minimum formula? nasa strcturl notes na po ba yan? Ano po tawag dyan, bend o devlpment length?

1. yes I did consider concrete cover sa pagdrawing sa AutoCAD, hindi lang halata kapag nasa video (or sa PowerPoint). consider na din in modelling sa AutoCAD ung sarili niyang diameter, di ko ata naconsider un, pero I think over-kill na sa detail ung gagawin nating cutting list kapag ganun. pero maybe if kaya naman, then do consider the self-diameter.
2. ang formula ay makikita sa NSCP2015 Table 425.3.1 (minimum), standard hook yan na dapat nga sana jan ay 180 degrees para may grip ang tension rebars na yan (hindi kasi nag bent-up bars para sa beams). kaso kung halimbawa ay construction side ka, hindi mo na kailangan alamin formula, consult the structural notes if di malinaw, communicate sa iyong team and then consult the undersigned structural engineer.
