Now that’s what I call a ture content creator !!! You really do take things to whole another level. This could have been a video about recycling but the 3D printing and clever thinking outside the box was what really striked my attention

It’s just the noozle from a 3D printer with the heating head. You can buy one cheap Chinese hotend kit and assemble it like that. Probably uses an Arduino board, the same as a real printer, to control the temp sensor and heating element. Instead of forcing the material using a motor he pushes it by hand and when it exits the noozle he attaches it to a low-speed spinner. If you use a lighter or better yet a heating gun to the ends of two strips you can meld many bottle strips together in one long line of material before forcing them through the extruded, so you don’t waste time and get a properly filled spool at the end.
Be nice if there were open source plans. I'd consider making miles of this filament.

PETG has a printing temp of 230-250, so I'd guess something around that. For joining pieces of plastic, I assume you just have to cut one end of the next string at a sharp angle (to form a long triangle), and insert the long end into the hole where the last string ended.
