using 59 stitches for a medium brings the length to my mid thigh. Is that where it is supposed to be. I am 5'4. I want to make another that comes to my upper hip. Would it still look great?
Hi Beverly. You can make the beginning chain any length you like. It is in multiples of 4 plus 3.
@@SYLVIAHappyhobbyCROCHETING123 I realized that soon after I posted question. Thank you for reply. I am at the point of joining the body. I am using the color called Checkers. I learned that I should count every row right after...it would have saved so much frogging. One side is perfect and the first side isn't. I have to sew it to fit it in. I was 2 stitches less in the end of one side so I am going to join and fit it in somehow. I just started crocheting this year in April. I love the hobby!
