Good video. I don’t necessarily agree completely. Gimmick names sometimes don’t relate well and fail. When you have a name attached people feel more personal and want to to buy. I’m Gina the baker. I’m a wholesaler and I also own a store front for 6years now. I’m in over 60 location and still strong and growing. Thank you 🙂
Hi Gina! Glad to hear this input on the matter, thank you! I def agree that whatever feels right for you is the best move! Congrats on your success and hoping you are well.
I wanna start my bakery business but still I'm stuck about my brand name can you suggest me something unique I want one word name with start with the touch of my name muskan or something else what about “bake mistry ’' or cakery bakery?? I'm confused🤔😫
Thanks for your comment! I would need to sit down with you via a call to chat more about your plans before I could suggest well-rounded names for your business. In the mean time, I would begin by first thinking about your ideal client, and what they would be attracted to. This might help narrow down some ideas. Then, make a list and start checking the DBA in your area, and/or trademarks, plus online, to see if they are available for use. Lastly, you can always contact a full branding coach who can help you solidify your brand from all aspects, so you don't miss a beat.
Hi DaSha! I am not necessarily against using your name in the business name BUT it could be harder to sell, if you ever wanted to sell the business. And it's harder to brand if it will be anything but your face. Many people have success with their name in the title. Do what's right for you!!
@@BuildaBetterBakery oh ok. I did decide to use my name only because I could use my last name as a play on words. I'd never sell since some of my recipes are family secrets. Plus it's more of a hobby business for me.
Good video thanks for the info…….. Still finding it difficult choosing a name for my brand please does “TC CAKERY” go well I really need your help on this
Glad you enjoyed the video! Would you like to schedule a complimentary 20 minute chat to discuss your name? I'd need more background to give an opinion.
I’ve owned my wholesale Bakery business for 9 years and am considering Re-Branding and changing my name.... realize that my business name doesn’t tell my customers anything...
Just like mine....its just hanging and leaving my customers asking themselves what the name is...its not inviting ....I'm thinking of renaming n rebranding after 7 years....
What about using an old fashion name, such as "bakester," which means female baker?
Thanks for the video, good tips?
Hi Joan! If the word is something people understand, can spell and is something your market is attracted to, I say go for it!
This was a good video. Thank you!
I am so glad you enjoyed it! Were you able to choose a name?
@@BuildaBetterBakery yes I was!

Yes, this can happen to many bakers. Did you end up coming with a name that works better?
