Hello Saeed, thank you for keep telling this remarkable story of Lucy Thomas, " La Vie En Rose " this cover is by a younger Lucy, but again with her remarkable voice skill she take's you back in time to those inocent days of the 1940s - 1950s in Paris France, life looked so good in those days, just so romantic & peaceful I wish we could all go back in time. Great Reaction Saeed. Take care, Barbara.
Hi Saeed - Yea it is staggering watching a teenager handles songs like this in such a beautiful manner. Her voice and voice control, even in her younger years, were already insane. Power does not work well when your screaming or screeching in my opinion. Lucy's power is just velvet elegance - it seems very easy for her to draw that power and deliver it & still with a rich tone and essentially pitch perfect. Amazing! Thx again!! When you have time - check out "Memory" from Cats Musical by Lucy - Younger Lucy exhibits some jaw dropping vocals in this beautiful cover of a beautiful song.
Try Moon River when she was 13. She was already at that level even then. Quite mind blowing really. Then Memory at 15...... just insane for a 15 year old.... Hooked ever since!
For me I've always wanted Emma Kok to sing especially this song of one of my idols in the early days, that is offcourse Edith Piaf. Also Lucy did it well but I think it is a better song fpr Emma, singing in French than, do you agree? Together with Tsjeerd Oosterhuis and maybe also Andre, It will be a new great song for Emma. Another song that I would hear Emma singing is: Non, je ne regrette rien, maybe the best song ever of Edith Piaf. Emma can bring this song alive again in her own way with paying much respect to that little great singer that Edith Piaf was, an icon not only in France but all over the world, RESPECT. ❤❤❤
Wow!! No matter how successful is the song she performs, she always does it great. She can dare with any song and often turns it in an even more beautiful song. Greetings 👏👋
@@SaeedReacts.you should really react to Lucy singing “Let It Go” from the animated movie Frozen at age 14 or 15. In my opinion, it’s better than the original sound track!
If I may suggest a Very Powerful Lucy at only 16 singing the Great Love Song, written by Dianne Warren and performed by AEROSMITH for the Movie Armeggeddan, I DONT WANNA MISS A THING Saeed! She made it from a Rock Ballad, to a Love Ballad as Warren intended
Weer een topprestatie van Lucy. Jammer dat de Fransen zo hun eigen idee hebben hoe je Rose uitspreekt. Dit woordje is volgens mij haar grootste misser tot nu toe.🥰
I don't believe this is a mistake because Lucy uses the French pronunciation earlier in the video, but ends up with the English pronunciation - both to suit the arrangement and because the French pronunciation simply would not work at the end! 😊
@@michaelhingley4770 Lucy sings rose with an English R and an S. French write rose but pronounce is with a Z and a French R: Roze, like Saeed does near the end of his comment or short: Rooz😀
@@henkhessel3651Semantics I think - Lucy did not study French at school and it would be affectation, in my view, to try and copy a French accent with an English rendition of the song. Beautifully performed, nonetheless! 😊
Lucy is just gorgeous,so glad we have her in 0ur lives!😊
I can’t think of a more beautiful voice than that. Simply divine and exquisite.
