Sometimes just interacting bilingually is more productive for English retention than strictly focusing on course work. Learning when you don't realise that you're learning. These are my favourite types of activities.

Cool. But my kids would just go down the line saying “reset.”

I doubt that, but you could just respond with, “Nobody wants to try? Okay, game over. Take out your books…”

Some foreign teachers in my center sometimes wear hats in the class, and I really don't understand. I wonder if this is a culture.

I’m not sure I’m qualified to comment on cultural differences. I will say that it is not uncommon for adults to wear hats as they go about their daily life in the United States.
When it comes to wearing one in the classroom, I’d guess that it comes down to school policy and personal choice. If there is no policy against it and the teacher is aiming to create a natural learning environment, I see no reason why they shouldn’t. English is a life skill, after all, not only an academic area of study. Teachers can represent the tone of the classroom through many things, from demeanor to fashion style.
I admittedly take a more casual approach in that regard, but would feel rather silly playing stickyball games in a suit and tie.
