Another note Stephanie, I must say this is the first time I’ve seen a draping transfer method with tracing paper. I like! Initially, I was searching for a brush-up on the transfer-with-waxpaper method and this way, seems to be more time effective. Cheers, Joanne
Hi Stephanie, i have a question about tracing a draped pattern for the bust of a corset pattern. To account for the curve of the bust, how do you avoid reducing the pattern at the curve. Because when I trace the bust to paper, the pattern seems to be get smaller. I am not clear how to fix this.
Hmmm, I would have to see a picture of this. Is there a seam close to the bust or a dart throwing fullness? You can send me pics at stefschoen@gmail.com if you would like!
Wonderful, thank you. Needed to brush up on my draping transfer to paper skills - this instruct is great. Curious, as far as stationary - what pen are you working with here?
this is exactly what i needed! there are a ton of draping videos. not a lot of pattern creation videos.

Hi, you don't need to add an inch to compensate for the dot?
