    I am a very avid cyclist and I bought this camera because of the unedited video you did cycling with this camera. I even started my own TH-cam channel just for fun. It's called MidnightPedals. I have watched every video you've done since then. I really like your casual style. I truly believe this camera will change things in a very substantial way. It is so fast and simple to use that it's hard to even explain to somebody that has never used one. The thing that has me totally blown away is the low light performance. It's incredible! I think most people will not understand the difference between digital stabilization and mechanical stabilization until they use a camera like this. I could talk about this camera for hours. I absolutely love it and carry it with me everywhere now.

    Nice review. Thanks for sharing both the good and the bad after some long time use. The hype on this thing was off the charts... so nice to see a video about long term use and pros/cons. Subscribed 🙂

    I've had my Pocket 3 for about 6 months now and it's gradually replaced almost all my others for my vlogs. I do still use my GoPro as a secondary camera, and if I need long shots I'll use my Sony ZV-E1. But it's the P3 that gets most of the use by far. And I have to agree with you regarding the zoom/position issue. For me, it seems it's always in zoom mode when I want to change the position, not visa versa. Thanks for this vid.

    It's a great camera, i also agree that the zoom in and out feature can be confusing when the toggle button also does up and down. I also have had this camera turn on in my backpack on its own 😂.

    Agree about the joystick, I've only been using this for about a week now, but always get mixed up if I'm zooming or tilting the camera angle and have messed up a few shots!

    Great Review. I can totally confirm the bad Zoom UI. We should have DJI correct that. By the way such an nice city you live in.

    Very nice review. Although I don't miss the city "Montreal" but the "les copains d'abord" bakery most definitely. The best sandwichs and the best "crème brulé. I'm glad to see that it's still there, av. Mont-Royal as lost a lot of its charm since the time I was living there more than 10 years ago.

    Trust me, if your portfolio showcases incredible content, clients won't care what equipment you used. Whether it’s a camera the size of a pencil or a professional rig, what matters is the quality of your work. If a client is fixated on your gear, it’s a red flag. Such clients usually bring more headaches than they’re worth. In those cases, I’d simply pass on the project. That's why I'm confident in buying this camera.

    • @cinimini5106

      No, up and down movement isnt smoothed by the gimbal.

    Unfortunately, there are reasons why cycling with less than two hands on the handlebars is potentially dangerous for the camera and for people (yourself and others in traffic).
    Here are just two of them: The road may have potholes that are visible too late. And others in the traffic may require very sudden riding reactions.
    It is true that slow driving theoretically brings more safety here, but others often feel provoked by slowness to very dangerous and bossy behaviour.
    I feel insecure and am looking for recommended options from other own experiences with 2 hands on the handlebars AND filming with the OP3.
    Thank you for your understanding and your reply!!!

    So what mic were you using. If internal, how did you get rid of the awful wind noise that this camera suffers with?

    • @cinimini5106
      @cinimini5106 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can set which of the 3 internal mics record, if windy you just set to frontal and itll eliminate everything from the back and the side.

    Montreal! What do you think about being able to film more surreptitiously in public with something like the Insta360 Go 3(s)- worse image quality but less obvious when you are filming.

    • @thoughtsontravelandlife
      @thoughtsontravelandlife  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Chelsify Handheld. A mount would be ideal but i worry that s bike mount would absorb a lot of microbumps that even the osmo can’t handle. I was thinking of buying a backpack mount. but for short rides, handheld works for me

      But most of the ads don't actually show up, right? I've got youtube premium so I really don't know. I just heard from other youtubers that it makes sense to put a bunch of ad breaks as most of them don't show up for viewers they are just suggested spots for youtube. That being said, I know a lot of ads suck as a viewer so I appreciate your comment and will think on this more. Cheers
