    This is awesome!!!
Where did you find all these incredible parts?
How much do you have invested in something like this? I’m sure it’s not cheap.
    Thanks for making my day!!!

Honestly, I probably have 1500$ just in parts. Labor is a whole other story. As far as parts you just have to look around. I'm also in alot of the Facebook groups. It helps.

The handle on the head ache rack is to release the factory style 5th wheel.

Impressive! Tri-Drives are always fascinating. That Cab is sweet! Only thing with those Shapeways Cabs.... EX-PENS-IVE!! 😖 And then there's the extensive bodywork involved. But if you need a specific Model, there's few other choices.
I was curious about those LESU Springs... Do they have any "spring" to them, or are they just good looking, but static?

They are not overly springy, but they do the job. Thanks for watching.

Here is a link to the E-Bay store where I purchased the steps, fenders and 5th wheel mounting plate; www.ebay.com/usr/cooper813?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

I've bought quite a few things from Cooper813. Including that same 5th Wheel Plate! Quality stuff.

Hello. I find your rear suspension system great. This is what I need for my future 6x6 truck. Can you tell me the parts you used? What are the names of the parts and what website did you buy them from? Thank you.

The axles and and suspension are Lesu. I used 2 pass-through and 1 regular axle. The drive shafts between the axles are Fumi brand, i found them on E-bay. I posted an earlier video of the suspension on my channel, watch it for another look. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply, but can you give me the link for the suspension system because I can't find it. I watched your other video, great.

@@Kriskraft77 Lesu doesn't sell a suspension specifically for a tri-drive truck, I used 2 Lesu suspensions and made the parts work. I simply left the links off one side of the front suspension, it only mounts one axle. Once i had the suspension cross-members spaced properly i bolted them in. I also had to trim the ends of the leaf springs where they sit on the middle axle. Hope this helps.

Alright I understand. My truck will only have 2 axles at the rear but to date I have never seen suspensions that have as much travel as yours, that's why I asked you what you had used.

@@Kriskraft77 I have that same suspension under a custom trailer I made, works a treat. If you've only got tandems in your rig it's a bolt in job that'll hold both axles off one kit. Great thing to use and I'll prolly put one on my Globe Liner at some point.

You can safe yourself a lot of work with the cab.
Bob has done a great job turning a king hauler cab into a day cab.

Love your build and your tri-drive suspension.

Thanks for the kind words. Using a king hauler cab is easier, but i wanted a cab that is a little more authentic looking.

wheel spacing is way to far apart even for Tamiya.
